It's also fine if you have suggestions that you give to people who are just getting into watching anime, that you feel need to be seen.

You can try outlaw star for the mercenary theme, gun x sword, gungrave, maybe hellsing for the sci-fi shooter thing, trinity blood, grenadier for the western shooter theme, maybe escaflowne, noir for the assassin theme, and ergo proxy for the sci-fi post apocalyptic theme.

Out of all of those, gun x sword is probably the closest to trigun. Although, out of those, I would suggest gungrave over the rest.

Last exile's pretty good. It's mostly really unique, story and character-wise. Also, I really dig the whole vanship idea.

Ergo Proxy
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
Hellsing (OVA)
Last Exile
Paranoia Agent

pure awesomeness

For the bounty hunter/merc thing, you could also look into Desert Punk.

I did not like these two, and that Gun X Sword show didn't seem too good from what I saw, but Outlaw Star is great.

Anime is for people that enjoy to see something with a good story and plot instead of seeing all those stupid and unmature cartoons.

Escaflowne blows, gun x sword is a total ripoff, but gungrave is a great gritty anime. Something about how gungrave starts made a lasting impression on me.

And yeah, outlaw star's pretty good.

You're right, chobits is more seinen then shoujo, even with the romance themes. School rumble's just a nice comedy with a lil shoujo romance thrown in. Zero no tsu is 100% for little girls. K-on is supadupa "kawaii" so I'd call that shoujo.

Zero no Tsukaima was published in the magazine Monthly Comic Alive. That magazine has a seinen demographic.

School Rumble is published in Weekly Shonen Magazine. I don't think I have to tell you what demographic that magazine has.

K-On is published in Manga Tim Kirara. That magazine also has a seinen demographic.

Where they were published doesn't mean much. If you're honestly going to tell me that k-on is for 18-35 year old males, then I don't think we watched the same anime. Y'know, the anime where 4 girl high schoolers make a band in the light music club? You're saying that's the same demographic as gantz? Nah man. Not at all.

If you're going to start arguing with me, make sure that you're actually right.

lol, chill out. I didn't offend your mother, just your girly zero no tsu.

Yeah, I really don't think you understand.

Where they are published means everything. It shows you exactly who the writer was gearing the series towards.

And yes. I believe that Japanese men love anime full of adorable high school girls.

I don't watch it, and I don't actually care who the series I watch are geared towards.

Bullshit. Inuyasha was published in weekly shonen, and you're going to tell me that's not for little girls?

And yes. I believe that Japanese men love anime full of adorable high school girls.

And I believe that an anime about 4 girls starting a pop band isn't geared towards the seinen demographic. No matter what magazine it was published in. Lucky star started in shonen ace, are you going to tell me that lucky star isn't for girls now? Fuck magazine labels, if it's girly, it's girly.

Oh my god fuck yes Lucky Star isn't for girls.

Lucky Star is so obviously geared towards boys that I don't even know why you would consider that.

Thought it was underwhelming.

The action scenes manage to be less exciting than the written action scenes in the visual novel.
