Same here. Rewatched the first 6 Dragonball Z movies today.
Awesome shit. Also following the subbed Dragonball Kai on the internet. Its Dragonball Z with no filler episodes on account of the 20th anniversary. Good stuff. :D

Hey everybody, just wanting to join here to further my range of Anime. I've only really watched the mainstream ones shown on TV, but I'm willing to watch anything strange.

Also, there's something I want to discuss with you all concerning eroge...

Hey .. when I started reading Yotsuba 4chan hardly even existed, so who says Yotsuba should be exclusive for some shitty site just because they associated themselves with the character? Yotsuba is a great comic and shouldn't have some digital shitpit associated with it..

.. which brings me to a question, has Yotsuba&! become an animated series yet ? You'd expect it would become one anyway..

Just discovered Ikkitousen; comedy, action, boobs, and plenty of fanservice - ecchi heaven!

I used to have a pic of a distressed, teary-eyed Yotsuba, and I could have used the caption "Yotsuba finds 4chan". But since I lost all my files a week ago, you can just... you know, imagine I posted that pic?

I had no idea that 4chan used that specific character. I was referring more to posting one word and having a picture with it. This is a place for discussion, people.

Ichi the killer is a manga, but its the most graphic stuff you can find. Theres rooms getting completely messed up in blood, peoples dicks getting mutilated and shit like that. Its not an anime, but i suggest you read it.
With anime, i can´t think of anything as graphic as that, but try
MD Geist.

Funny animes - Detroit metal city and Great teacher Onizuka.

Bakemonogatari is a great show. Excellent visuals/animation with a good cast of characters with different personalities.

Yeah, picture if you're still not satisfied with what I'm saying about it.

Why is that title not translated into English?

The portmanteau works exactly the same in English.

"Monstory."

For BUKKITS OF BLUUD, I would suggest Black Lagoon and Baccano! (Oh, Vino, you corgeous, murderous red headed step child!). Both shows have the benefit over many other violent anime of being actually good.

As for the funnies, everyone has differrent tastes for humour. I really liked Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.

the connection between Yotsuba and 4chan is, that the 4chan logo was borrowed from Yotsuba's hairstyle, and she's a semi-official mascot of the site. Newfags call her "404girl".

PROGRESS POST!

A week ago I fnished The 08th MS Team. It was spectacular. Like I said in my previous post, I loved that the OVA showed the war through the eyes of regular soldiers piloting regular Mobile Suits, and not special Newtypes piloting special mobile suits. My only problem with the show was that unnecesary twelfth episode. What was the point of it, just giving the show a disney-happy ending? They should have left it as it was. Whatever, the rest makes that little mistake perfectly ignorable.

After that, I picked up 0080: War in the Pocket. I just finished it a few minutes ago. Now that was a really memorable show. It has a great balance between sweet, light-hearted moments and intense action acenes. That the protagonist had been a 10 year old was also a good mix to the show, in my opinion. It added a whole new perspective and we saw him grow from a little average kid to a mature boy who got to understand the true meaning of war. I recommend it.

Here, have some delicious Christina.

I wish I would have gotten in to anime sooner, but I didn't.
I am really in to it now, and have seen the Death Note series about 10 times. Elfin Lied about 5, and Hellsing like 4 times.

Can I join?

Hell yeah! That's my favorite gundam series! IIMO its the most realistic and credible because you don't have one unit constantly wiping out an entire battalion of mobile suits with one half-assed cannon blast (save for the Apsalus of course) and the main characters don't have an aura of invincibility to them.

Happily ETS'd.
