Hey all...I was wondering if you could help me find this parody collaboration thing. It was on youtube, but searching for "anime" or "parody" comes up with countless narutard parodies. Doesn't work. All I remember is I came across it from the 4chan movies on youtube, and it has intermittent scenes featuring osaka from azumanga daioh doing some sort of phone commercial or something....also, it had one of the scenes from grave of the fireflies with some happy music in the background. I know that's very vague, but I figure one of you guys will know what I'm talking about.

Yeah, Sayonara Zetsobou Sensei is great.

Finished the first series, I'm driven to get the other two.

Pink Supervisor is just such a great character, and with the just as colorful other cast and over-the-top comedy of the anime itself, it really pulls you in

Yes, but I find it easier to remember that.

I'm currently trying to mow through G-Gundam, Patlabor and New Getter Robo etc.

Lots of (relatively) new stuff going around, eh? I was recently married last year, and I have a kid now too, so I'm really behind on like everything that I used to be up on. I'll have to look into those, seeing as how my wife likes anime...hopefully she'll enjoy them with me :P. Definitely nice to see new Gundam iterations out too, as well as more mech stuff.

Found out that the nearby (albeit shitty) mall nearby opened a Sakura Media, so I promptly creamed my panties until I found out how horribly small the shop is. The one I usually go to is fairly small in regards, but this one is HALF the size.

My dad also mentioned seeing one episode of Naruto to see how it is. I was trying to discourage him. :(

I'm guessing you've seen the anime to Cromartie then? Freddie be the fucking man. Kentaro released his latest chapter a few weeks ago and his new one should be in a few weeks. This mild sprinkle of Berserk is fucking killing me. Even though it's about Griffith fighting against the emperor[which is better than no Berserk at all]I still want some Guts action. For being in his early to mid twenties he looks mid thirties. But go figure, the line of work he does takes it's toll physically.

I have never watched a single full episode of any Gundam show ever.

I have, however, watched five minutes of several Gundam Wing episodes, and the end of a few Gundam Seed episodes (it was on before Fullmetal Alchemist).

I've always found giant robots to be a pretty boring animation plot device.

Unless it's in The Iron Giant. That movie was sweet.

I watched Gundam Zeta once and got tired after 3 episodes. I just found it boring.
