Anyway I finished Kaiji.
I got to say, with the balance beam ark I was starting to wonder if the series was going down hill just like Death Note did.
I was satisfyingly wrong.
The e-card ark(Even if it was like 5 or 6 episodes for that one game between Kaiji and Tongewhatever)
And the lottery episodes were great also, I got to say: The last episode was great.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
I honestly didn't expect him to lose, which was a really good plot twist if you think about it considering that if he won it would've way to predictable.
If it weren't for the fact Gendo told me that there will be a season 2 and the last 30 seconds of the last episode where Kaiji is swearing to get revenge I really would've thought that was how the series would end.
And even if it did end there, it still would've satisfied me.
All in all, probably one of the best animes i've seen.
