Also, continuing Kaiji starting now.

Since you've already seen that, all I can think of is Texhnolyze. It's about organized crime in the future. It's really good. The ending might disappoint you, though. I had mixed feelings. I thought the ending was good, but I still didn't like it simply because I didn't want what happened to happen.

Or you could try Great Teacher Onizuka. I doubt that's what you're looking for, though. I haven't watched much of it yet, but it looks like it will be good. And there's the Salaryman Kintaro anime. I have no idea if it's any good, but I saw a box cover and read a synopsis and figured I might try it sometime. About ten years ago, Takashi Miike made a movie based on it, too.

Watching of this series is a must.

I've been meaning to see it. I actually saw the first episode, but nothing past that.I'll see it eventually.

My comp is messed up and when I download stuff from Veoh, the videos are usually out of sync and play slowly. I used to use Veoh all the time. It was great.

Is that thing a prop?

The gun in the photo is an airsoft revolver by Marushin.

The reason why I bought it in the first place was because of its non-typical appearance (or as some of you may say; looks something designed by Nightow or Masamune) and because it has a realistic reloading method instead of the chamber being a "Magazine" for holding several rounds.

The speed loader shown in the photo, however, is the real deal.

Speaking of Handguns, I want this, even if the magazine system is different from the show.

Way ahead of you. I rather liked Death Note, at least the beginning, the last episodes were terrible. Certainly not the best.

Show should have ended when L died. To keep it going past that was just a waste.

Well, if the series ended when L died, then Light would not have died. However, that's not the case. The fact that Near and Mello came into play afterwards shows that the series is still living, and Light can still be defeated. Think about it. If Light won, and Near and Mello died, wouldn't that just make them pointless? The final 12 episodes of Death Note would've been rendered useless if Light had won, so therefore, he NEEDED to die.

Why did Light have to die? Well who wants the bad guy with the the god complex to win? Honestly I bet 7 out of every 10 fans wanted L to win in the end.

SPOILER ALERT

In "Death Note: The Last Name", the second live-action movie, L writes his own name in the Death Note and uses his last 23 days to defeat Light.

Not only does this result in good triumphing over evil (in a relative sense), but it does so without two more key characters dragging it out.

And we all know we love an ending which ends in "DRAW GAME".

And in the afterlife, L and Light are fighting it out with Sudden Death enabled.

I actually got around to watching She, The Ultimate Weapon, it only had 13 episodes I think so it was a quick view really. It was good, not great but still pretty good. Love stories and everything and some action. It ended up haing 2 DVDs in each case which were the same, I didnt quite get that but I ended up with double all the episodes.
With the extra two episodes on it another love story, it was basicly constant breasts all the way through, taking every chance to show tits and sometimes the whole naked body, for example operating on her so it shows her breats and then she goes into a shower strait after where it spends ages looking at the tits. I don't really get that, especially as the main series took it to avoid tits all the way through.
I am guessing they were not on TV so they could do anything they wanted or something.

But was it done so in bad taste like oh-so-many "Milking Shows"?

Ani-Monday is back with some new programming - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagaan and Now and Then, Here and There start tonight, and apparently Mobile Suit Gundam 00 will start on November 17. I have a feeling they'll censor the heck out of these three series, but I've already seen Now and Then, Here and There on International Channel/AZN TV, so I know how batshit crazy it gets.

nothing very productive. just getting high with friends and making each other laugh, doing really stupid things that we shouldn't be doing. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm definitely going to miss it when my friends are busy and I can't see them as often. One of my friends is supposed to be going on tour with his band and I plan on going to college, as does another friend of mine. I'm not looking forward to it. What sucks is I do look forward to my birthday each year because I usually get to go to awesome restaurants and spend some time with family, but it's at the end of Summer (August 31st) so I also look at the date with disappointment.

Blue Gender, R.O.D. and Escaflowne etc)

I haven't seen Blue Gender in forever. I miss it. I want to buy the box set. And I've been wanting to check out ROD and Escaflowne. Really, there's too much anime I plan on seeing and not enough anime I actually am seeing.

Yeah, AZN TV ran it pretty much uncut a year or two ago, but I fear it will be blurred and muted (the way the Sci Fi channel censors its anime programs) beyond recognition. If you want to see all the good stuff you miss out on, try renting it from Netflix.

I know theres a animated one, put i'm pretty sure theres no live action. I can't think of any actor that would do justice to the role.

Also, reliving my youth through Yu Yu Hakusho. It holds a special place in my heart since its the first anime i ever laid eyes on. Now that i watch it again, being so much older, its like a whole new show.

Anime club? love it. Now how would you go about joining? Is it just like "I wanna join" and poof your in? That being asked, I know no one cares, but my top 5:

1-Code Geass
2-Death Note (no duh, huh?)
3-Inuyasha
4-Avatar: The last Airbender (I know it's American and so not really anime to the purists, but it's in the style and IMO close enough)
5-Bleach
