OH MY GOD, THE MIDDLE SECTION OF EF A TALE OF MEMORIES EPISODE 11.
I did NOT see that coming, not from a fucking mile away.

Wow. I really missed the boat on that anime.
But yeah, I love cheesy-ass rom-com fan-service anime (holy-hyphens-Batman!).
Currently, I've been watching Wagaya no Oinari-sama. It's pretty darn good, I think. Then there's Kamen no Maid Guy, Kanokon, To LOVE-Ru, and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Maid Guy is f'n hilarious! Kanokon could honestly be better; it's good, but not great. To LOVE-Ru is a lot like UltraMaiden Valkyrie but minus the lolicon. I haven't gotten to Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei yet, but all my friends won't stop raving about it so it must be good.

It's a fucking girl's anime, ofcourse it's gonna be a bit gay. Too bad that gayness is made of lulz and win. Ouran is a good series.

It was made by one guy on his computer, give it a break.

i'm a pretty big anime fan, i guess all i have to do is ask to join?
I need to watch more anime, but to do so, I need to deal with Tagalog dubs. Meaning I wouldn't understand it as much since I'm not too fluent in Tagalog, which is a gigantic shame since it is the "national language" other than English. Any thoughts on my predickament? Do you guys think I should just at least try and bear it?
Also, They're showing a horribly dubbed OVA of Black Jack, OH JOY, OH RAPTURE.

Weeaboo lithus test! If you understood over 70% of that, join the queue for your free t-shirt and cat ears.
Anyway, got Samurai Champloo. Just gonna finish Ouran, and then start with Champloo.

Uhh... that's like comparing a dish to a platefull of AIDS-infected glass shards.

Oh Yahtzee, you lovable bastard, you.
Going back over Kaiji to catch the episodes I didn't watch, and my God do I loves meh sum Ishida.
Hey, this is an awesome idea for a club!
My favorite anime would have to be Neon Genesis Evangelion, due to the fact that it was a stepping stone in the industry of anime; It set the way for anime characters with serious emotional flaws and combined that wit some kickass robot fighting scenes =p
I like Bleach, but not really the anime, I prefer the manga. Your right, Samurai Champloo is so much better, i just hated how it had to end =\
Naruto manga is better than the anime too. Same with Death note. I think the same with all anime lol.
btw, have any of you seen akira? Now if your an anime fan and want to see how anime exploded on the scene, you really need to see that. Akira got alot of aults interested in anime in the 1980s. It may be old, but its amazing

Castle of Cagliostro.
Immediately.
So I just finished the last episode of (Zoku) Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei.
It was a good, funny series.
Which is weird, because anime humour is quite rarely laugh out loud funny.
The show was a bit formulaic, but the formula was bizarre enough (find one aspect of Japanese society, then take it in the worst light possible and see what happens), and the show was clever enough to pull it off.
However, it didn't have an ending.
And it also gave a hint that a 3rd season would come (in some mini scene the writer of the manga said amidst a bunch of other statements 'it would be scary if a third season was made', in some form of irony; it was all very ridiculous), so here's hoping.

Yes, YES, YES, Whenever Kenshin/Sano meets an enemy there's always like 10 minutes or more of the dude saying crap from their background like ( I think the name of the guy who's story is this is Anji or something ) "OO, I USED TO BE A MONK, I HAD ALL THESE ORPHANS THAT I TOOK CARE OF, NOT TO MENTION I CAN BREAK ROCKS IN ONE PUNCH, OH AND I USED TO BE PUNY, NOW I AM WORKING FOR SHISHIO LMAO." I liked that character, but I don't think that the fight needed to be mostly flashbacks and shouting.
mediocre sword fight scenes.
Which are usually very short, or boring. I think that I've only seen a few good fight scenes in Samurai X, like that fight Sano had with Kenshin.
I forgot a lot about this anime, the last time I watched an episode was months ago, and I think it was about this dude with some kind of Feng-Shuei shit. I dunno really, just recalling. Correct me if you can.

I have the manga up to Vol. 29. I'll have to agree w/u on that.

I've heard of Akira, but never saw it. I read about it in one of my Naruto mangas from Kishimoto-san.

Yeah, there tends to be a lot of dialouge in the Naruto series, as well as flashbacks, but in my opinion, those things make the series interesting. But yeah, it could use a little more action.

Well, I did say the show could use more action, right?

Last time I checked, this is an Anime Club. I just got done reading the rules, and we could seriously use more posts that are on topic.
Hey, has anyone seen/heard of "Spirited Away"? It's a really good movie by Miyazaki-san.

I was just asking. [Sniff]

Spot-on, gent.
I love dialogue-heavy stuff, but you really need more of an engaging plot to stay fresh and exciting with endless chatter.
Plus, I want action from my dumb shonen cartoons, fuck all this worthless exposition.
Who here hates anime fillers? I do, and sometimes it feels like they'll never end.

I think every sane anime viewer dislikes wasteful episodes to a degree.
