Thanks in advance.

Something as good as Elfen Lied, huh? I think Kite would be to your liking or Naruto or Bleach!

I think something crap like Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni is up your street.

People like you tend to like it.

Too bad you UK guys can't get the official region 1 stuff(for clear reasons) Or anything actually official.

That is annoying, I can get many DVDs of ebay and things for less than half the price of the region 2 ones but they don't work over here. Bastards : (

I can play any sort of DVD on my DVD player.

It's multi-regioned.

Pretty much every decent DVD player here is multi-regioned.

I have the multi region thing on my PS2, as I don't bother to use an actual DVD player. So that is not the problem, but the DVDs are still NTSC so I am thinking that the picture will not come up right on a PAL TV, or I may just be an idiot.

I've got a US version of the film Mean Streets.

It works fine.

I heard that staying past the credits to see that was a waste of time.

I tend to stay past the credits anyway, so I can make sure I've gotten my money's worth.

Also that the film didn't live up to the hype.

I was kinda surprised they didn't play "Iron Man", the Black Sabbath song, until the ending credits, but I rather enjoyed the movie.

Do you think Edward from Cowboy Bebop and Bridget from Guilty Gear would make a good couple?
The only 'couple' I saw (that I remember) when I went to that convention a couple of weeks ago was two people dressed up as characters from .Hack//THE LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT BRACELET.

You were at Anime Punch? Did you see my half-ass attempt at cosplaying Guile from Street Fighter II?
But my real question there was, do you think a fan-fic doujinshi involving Bridget and Edward as gender-bending boyfriend and girlfriend would work? In retrospect, the idea doesn't sound very good because it depends on a cross-over of two very different things.

Elfen Lied, because that's all it is, brainless violence and gore.

Mysteryhat is an obvious gimmick account.

Irrelevent to my bitching.

In other news, several years too late I've been getting around to Azumanga Daioh. I just reached the episode where they take the trip to Okinawa. It makes me wish I'd spend more time exploring the island and less time drinking, because I know everywhere they go and everything they buy is real (I've been to some of the places and seen those products). And yes, Shi-sa are fucking everywhere on this island.
