Greatly hit and miss.

There are a few soundtracks I'd listen to on a daily basis (Hellsing, Metropolis), but aside from a few guilty pleasure J-Pop tunes, I'm not really too big on anime music.

Well, I did it once when I went to see a couple of kids films on at the film festival at the same cinema, on the same day, within 20 minutes of each other.

But Kirikou And The Sorceress, and The King And The Mockingbird were both amazing, so it's okay.

It's odd seeing two French animated films in one day.

Walk Hard was a reasonably effective antidote for AVP:R.

I was thinking of getting that one as the music from it was good and it had many different styles, probably wouldn't be high into the heavy metal one though. If it had that Opera music and the blues and things they were all great.

There are a bunch Cowboy Bebop soundtracks, since there's around 140 songs overall made for the series and the movie.

My favourite songs from it all come from different CDs.

To be fair, some of the songs on the albums were live recordings of songs, or alternate versions of songs.

So it's probably a fair bit less.

I have heard about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya a lot so far and it seems to be a good one from what I heard, do you think it is worth going into? If so I was given this link and it seems that I can get the first series for around £30 which I just got, think it is worth getting?

Well, yeah, and looking throughk the box has some pretty epic feelies. I wouldn't mind paying for that, actually.

Meh, that's debatable.

I'm all for torrenting, provided you're downloading things there is absolutely no sensible legal alternative to (basically, anything unlicensed, out of print or too long/overpriced to obtain).

I've torrented plenty of stuff, but I much prefer buying (and I own more than I've downloaded).

The only 'couple' I saw (that I remember) when I went to that convention a couple of weeks ago was two people dressed up as characters from .Hack//THE LEGEND OF THE TWILIGHT BRACELET.

I think theres good music in some anime, but most anime don't have good soundtracks.I like the music from Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Lupin III, Vampire Hunter D (and Bloodlust), and a couple others. Kemonozume has some pretty good jazzy tunes, and Heat Guy J also has a couple of good songs.
