So I went to a nerd stuff convention today - Armageddon.
I bought myself a Samurai Champloo T-Shirt.
I'm hoping it will shrink in the wash a bit.

DUDE, WE'RE LIKE BROTHERS!
I HAVE ONE TOO!
AWESOME!
Back to watching more bad old anime...

Two sizes.
It's funny how the sizes for the t-shirts start at large.
However, I managed to shrink the shirt by putting it in the wash on high, then the dryer on high.
It was this t-shirt, but for some reason Fuu's eye and hair colour are both white instead of brown on mine.

Odd, but at the same time somewhat awesome.

It's strange how much better it manages to look.

I am now slightly envious.
Reminder to self: Get new VCR soon, too many unwatched tapes.

Well, I'm on episode 32 of HNK 2, and there's a huge problem. The subbing went from pretty fucking amazing to piss poor. This suggests that Heart of Madness did not do these episodes, because their name no longer appears in the opening, or something else. I don't mind watching butchered subs, because it's comical, but what the fuck.

Hahaha.
Genshiken finished downloading, I'll start watching it soon, but I have an essay on a book I haven't still read due next week...
As I understand it, the night broadcast of Soul Eater will be used for raunchy content as the series progresses.
You don't reserve a 52 late night slots on TV-Tokyo unless you intend to use them. I hope to God that BONES understands this.
I feel like watching a new series.
Preferably something more eventful than the last bunch that I watched.
Any suggestions?

The first series was just as funny in its own right

What's with all the shoving 'u's in Japanese words?
A 'u' after an 'o' in Japanese just indicates that the 'o' sound is extended somewhat, so it's just the equivalent of putting a line over the 'o'.
And 'sayonara' doesn't even have an extended 'o' sound.
But this sounds interesting enough, I'll go for this.

Here is a list of the Spring anime of 2008.

From the Winter anime of 2007/2008, I recommend Shigofumi, H20 Footprints in the Sand, and Hatenkou Yuugi.

Jesus Christ, this season looks awful.
Probably gonna watch Masked Maid Guy, though. Oh, and I brick'd at Golgo 13.
If that's not the best show ever, I'll be sad.
I got the last volume of Ninja Nonsense from Netflix today. I have not yet watched it.
And I finished Pet Shop of Horrors. It was decent.

Hopefully, it won't be anything like Queen Bee. That movie was such a horrible piece of shit. The Professional: Golgo 13, however, was great.
Oh god WHY are they trying to make a furry version of Ranma 1/2. Seriously, everthing on that list is either fantasy or generic romance crap.

Kamen no Maid Guy was a strange one imo. The faces looked strange.
The only ones I wouldn't like would be Junjou Romantica, Da Capo II Second Season, and Blassreiter.
Most of the others, I know are pretty good, or decent.
My favorite so far out of all of the Spring anime would probably be Soul Eater.
At least give each of them a chance also. =P
You never know if you might not or might like an anime.

Speaking of bastardized versions of anime series, is anyone going to see the Speed Racer live-action movie? I'm not sure if I'd shell out $8 to see a poor rendition of a pitiful dub of an animated series from the '60s. Besides, in an Esurance commercial, I saw the Mach 5 with the number 6 on it, and that is just plain wrong!
I was never really into Speed Racer. I watched it now and then when I was a very young child. It may have even been my first anime, but I can't recall. I think it was either that, Voltron or Gatchaman. t.
Even if I were a big fan of Speed Racer, I probably wouldn't see this new movie.
Just watched the first 5 episodes of Genshiken. It's excellent.

Ye it doesn't seem like its that entertaining.
Glasses fetish ftw.

Um, yeah, the only reason I liked the show was because of it's terrible dub, I always saw it as a comedy. The movie is trying to be freaking serious so I will not even waste the money to see it.
