You're a silly individual, you are.

I said it WASN'T moe enough for you.

Perhaps I would have made it clear I understood what you said, if I had said "Actually, no, it wasn't moe enough for me", but I thought I could take out that last part because sometimes people are actually able to understand what I say without me spelling it out for them.

Also, some genius did a beautiful parody illustration of the Spartan phalanx with the cast of the Touhou games.

I've never played them, but I'm sure it's hilarious.

Oh, and /u/ had those female Spartan warrior images, those were quite a laugh too.

This isn't another thing I'm actually going to have to check 4chan to get what the link means, right?

We've been over this on like five seperate occassions, I totally agree with you there.

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? THE "GARY AND IAN SAY THE SAME SHIT ABOUT 300 CLUB"?!

It doesn't fit in the topic title... Place.

That was heartless, bub.

I take it back.

Better than season four of House.

I got up to the part where House's wife gets a job at the hospital.

Then gave up.

So you fail to realize the very inclusion of "Actually, no." was unnecessary and vaguely confusing?

Everything else below it would have done nicely.

I watched three minutes of an episode.

Even the worst of the early seasons doesn't compare.

I think we're failing to get to the point of the matter.

There SHOULD be a movie about anime school girls fighting Persian monsters.

I watched three minutes of an episode.

I probably would have watched more if it hadn't been taken off the air at that point.

I'm sure they were just too awestruck at the bad writing, that they couldn't air it further.

Don't waste your time, I found claymore to be complete shite.

Hey, hey, hey; go fuck yourself. Claymore was decent. The manga is better, but the anime isn't shit. Unless you don't enjoy the concept of girls wielding giant swords and killing demons every 5 seconds. Which is fine, but seriously, eat a dick.

I haven't even gotten around to watching Pet Shop of Horrors or the rest of the Lupin episodes I have.
Finish Lupin ASAP.

I must agree on this point though. I'm only up to episode 5 of the original series. But then Hokuto no Ken got in the way, so yeah. So, if you're ahead, watch it.

Fine, I'll rephrase it. I am sorry to say that it is your loss for not letting a fandom decide your every single action on the internet.

After reading noob's and Matt's posts, I'm still going to watch Claymore, but not with high expectations. Though I didn't really have high expectations in the first place.

Also, I'm thinking of trying to get Darker Than Black. It looks like it could be good. I would look into Monster, but there's too many episodes.

I have episodes 1-18 of the first series and so far I've only seen 2 or 3 episodes. The one with Pycal was pretty cool. But it feels different watching Lupin without that awesome dub. Anyway, I still like it. I wish I could get the rest of the episodes of the show (and of Shin Chan) , though. There's 20-something episodes, right?

Also, the music in the second season is much better. I'm collecting the music now, but I can't seem to find certain songs that I really want. I've also gotten the Akira soundtrack, most (if not all) of the songs from Berserk, some stuff from Cowboy Bebop, and the theme from the original Ghost in the Shell movie. I haven't been abvle to find music from the first Vampire Hunter D movie. I really like the synth you hear at the very beginning. I would piss my pants if I could get it. I have a thing for oldschool synthesizer film scores. That's why I have the soundtracks to Halloween, John Carpenter's the Thing, Escape from New York, Terminator, Tenebre, Suspiria, and Profondo Rosso.

What can you guys tell me about Excel Saga apart from that it has a catchy opening. Is it that funny? It is supposedly meant to be a comedy (slap stick style) but I don't think I have ever found anime which has truly made me laugh. (Have you?)

It has its moments, but you start to grow tired of its "random" humour.

Dead Leaves, Lupin III, Cromartie High School, Shin Chan, FLCL, Fist of the North Star, and Crying Freeman have all made me laugh at least once. Also, the comedy relief in Orphen made me laugh, but I was about 12 years old when I first saw it. And I expect Ninja Nonsense to give me a good laugh whenever I decide to finally watch the show.

Also, I think I'll put Excel Saga on my Netflix cue.

How can I say this? It tries too hard to let you know it's a comedy. It's good, but not as amazing as people say it is.

Well, truth be told Takahashi's not to blame when it comes to the anime. What she IS to blame for is Ranma's lackluster ending, and also for creating Inu-yasha.
Yeah, sub-par writers and a low budget are to blame i guess. Also because the studio funding them ended or something.

But yeah, she must have a phobia of good endings.

But she certainly knows how to make memorable characters.

Nice picture. I had fun with that one. I had a friend over who is not into anime but IS into hentai. So I asked him which one of the girls he thought was the most sexy. He said the Redhaired girl was. I then told him that "she" was a he. He then freaked out and insisted that he wasn't gay. All in all, good times.

I always had a soft spot for Urusei Yatsura. Seriously, who couldn't like a series where a game of tag holds the earth at it's mercy? The comedy is fantastic, and the characters are great. But why is Lum angry at you? You didn't try to win over Ataru's heart did you?

Now if only the series came out in box sets(like Ranma1/2)

There were boxsets years ago, but they were a hundred bucks a pop.

and included an english dub for the series(the movies are dubbed)

If only.

BBC Video really needs to release "Lum, The Invader Girl", because it was fucking awesome.

I wish I could screencap the ape in the captain outfit smoking a pipe from episode 3 of JJBA, but when I paste it into paint, I get a black screen. I guess it's got something to do with the file type. Maybe if I get a video converter.

So, I've begun watching Beet the Vandel Buster and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised. I read two or three mangas a few years back and enjoyed them a lot, so I wanted to check the show out. It's in Japanese with English sub-titles, so I think it comes out better than it would with English dubbing.

I'm gonna go back to my room and be awesome.

I've told you a thousand fucking times, volume four.

One to three are the awful prequel series, four onwards is the original show.
