Trust me, it is.

Even better, they're not fighting vampires, they're just slaughtering Islamic extremists, Communists and other "heretics".

It's very rare that vampire hunter stories work.

Yeah, far too many cliches and such get in the way.

Not to mention far too much vampire literature sucks to begin with.

Oh, that's pretty useless then.

Yeah, just pops up to give Maxwell his coffee and brief the gang on their next big mission.

I doubt I'll look out for it.

It comes included with the Hellsing manga in the North American pressing.

The art is pretty, but that's the only real draw.

Manga is too expensive, anyway.

God yes, so I rarely buy it anymore.

That sort of thing worked perfectly well in Hellboy.

I love that comic series, I should read more of it.

Mike Mignola's one Hell of an artist.

I don't remember much of the X-Men cartoon. If I looked at it now, I'd probably think Gambit was lame.

He always was pretty lame, but hey, it was the 90s.

But I hear he may be turning up in Wolverine. That alone is enough to make me excited about it.

Oh, cool.

God damn those bloody communists.

When was this comic made?

The 50s?

Yeah, far too many cliches and such get in the way.

It's very disappointing.

Vampires have such potential to be awesome.

Then again, they also have huge potential to be lame.

Iscariot's secret weapon?

A coffee boy?

GOD DAMN YOU NORTH AMERICA.

God yes, so I rarely buy it anymore.

It's even more expensive here, I gather.

Mike Mignola's one Hell of an artist.

Did you capitalise Hell in attempt to show off your pun?

He always was pretty lame, but hey, it was the 90s.

He threw exploding cards.

That's cool enough.

No, mid-90s.

It's packed to the brim with illogical, outdated, racist fun!

COMMIES DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD, SO IT'S OKAY TO SLICE THEM IN HALF WITH SWORDS

Vampires have such potential to be awesome.

One of life's many sad truths.

Iscariot's secret weapon?

A coffee boy?

Yeah, I don't have a clue what Hirano was thinking about when he wrote that.

Did you capitalise Hell in attempt to show off your pun?

No, actually, I always do that.

Although yeah, the capital "h" does make the pun far more apparent.

He threw exploding cards.

That's cool enough.

Yeah, good point.

Oh ho ho.

Catholics are so fun.

One of life's many sad truths.

It's the same with most monsters.

I'd probably prefer it if people were more prone to making up their own monsters for these sorts of things, rather than using cliche ones.

Yeah, I don't have a clue what Hirano was thinking about when he wrote that.

Man.

Hirano truly is fat.

He's a very fat man.

No, actually, I always do that.

Although yeah, the capital "h" does make the pun far more apparent.

HE'S A HELLBOY OF AN ARTIST.

A capital 'h' should really only be used when you're talking about the place, rather in that colloquial sense.

I just finished Kanon.

It was good, I enjoyed it.

I hated the structure, and thought it may have been a little too long, but it was still good. Air was probably better.

*The following is spoilers, probably.*

Man, Yuuichi sure can pick the dying and/or mentally unstable ones. It felt a little like the show was trying to latch onto my sad feelings and pull them out of my eyes for a bit of it, where something bad happened to pretty much everyone Yuuichi meets. Also, I find it a little annoying that the show opted for an ending which just basically said "Oh yay, it's a miracle, everyone's okay!". Well, except for Makoto, but no one cares about her.

The structure annoyed me, because it basically just went "Introduce characters for a few episodes - Expand on one - Kill her off - Expand on another - Put her in hospital - Expand on another- Put her in hospital - Expand on yet another - Make it so that she's some form of dream, and was in the hospital throughout - Rewind - Everyone's okay again".

By the way. Ooh, Yuuichi's cousin totally has the hots for him (this has been confirmed by a quick gloss over the h game CG).

*Spoilers are end*

Still, it was worth watching.

Maybe I'll move onto Clannad.

What the hell are you talking about? What does that have to do with anything? Are you talking about Kuro's post above yours? Because there are certainly much larger, even in this single thread.

I think he was talking about the number of posts in the thread, not the number of posts a single user has.

So, I'm about to watch the Ghost in the Shell movie, because the series seems like something that's hit or miss for me, and I'd rather spend the least amount of time doing it. I'm wondering...does it pretty much nullify the series, or is it possible to watch it then the series? I'd rather not ruin anything, though I want the story in the shortest amount possible :P.

The series is seven-thousand times better, and bares very little connection to the film, so don't bother.

Want a condensed story? The two seasons have been made into a pair of OVAs, look 'em up.

I have 9 hours of spare time ahead of me. I´m gonna watch Lucky Star, Kanon and maybe Clannad.

Have I missed something out, to make my day irreversibly moe?

Are they that packed with moe-ness or is there something else?

I have nothing else to do, although, I could start watching Black Lagoon or others.

I haven't seen Clannad, but I'll assume it's the same.

Lucky Star and Kanon somewhat base themselves around having characters that are ridiculously cute. Kanon tries especially hard.

But nonetheless, it was a joke, and they're good series.

Yeah, sounds so.

It sounds more like a drama/romance thing to me. Well, we´ll see...

Yeah, Kanon is okay though, they don´t make turn it into the point of the story.
Having said that, I´ve only watched up to Episode 4...

But nonetheless, it was a joke, and they're good series.

Good. I´ll enjoy myself, with force if needed.

It's Key, and they don't seem to innovate a great deal.

Yeah, Kanon is okay though, they don´t make turn it into the point of the story.
