I'm sure the game is entertaining enough when you have a proper grasp on the language.

Since the majority of it is like a visual novel, it'd be like watching the series.

And for me it's a decent enough way for me to practise my Japanese reading.

I'd rather have three to four hours of fun (the original Metal Gear Solid) than several days worth of boredom.

Coincidentally enough, I've just been playing the original Metal Gear Solid these past few days.

Psycho Mantis is probably one of my favourite bosses ever.

I've been meaning to play through it again, but I just re-started MGS3 (for the third time) and my friend has my PS1 memory card.

Fun as fuck fight that was.

Loved the controller swap bit, pure genius on Kojima's part.

I've only played through MGS3 once.

I'd start it again, but I've already got about 300 hours worth of video games to play through (tons of RPG's (including ridiculously long ones like Star Ocean 3 and Dragon Quest 8)) before I consider restarting an old game.

In fact, I shouldn't even be playing MGS1.

But since I'm able to play it on my computer (PSX emulator, but I'm playing it using my MGS discs), it means I don't have to get up, which is that much more convienent.

Fun as fuck fight that was.

Loved the controller swap bit, pure genius on Kojima's part.

And it even screwed with your mind when it randomly looked like it screwed up your TV, after it went black with a green Hideo on the top right.

None of the following MGS's managed to surpass the originals bosses (with Psycho Mantis and Sniper Wolf being the best, probably), though MGS3 made a decent attempt.

I'm currently up to the battle with the Hind on the rooftop.

No, no, no, no, no.

You don't understand.

This club doesn't care so much about intelligence.

The thing is, you have to like the same things as the other members to get accepted.

Difference is not tolerated.

1. Five favorite anime and a sentence or two about each.
2. What anime do you dislike?
3. What got you into anime?

That is one of the most boring things I've ever heard.

I think it took me at least 2 weeks to complete it first off (I like to make my games last).

Agreed.

I space out my replay sessions, I'd never beat the same game thrice in month.

I think it took me at least 2 weeks to complete it first off (I like to make my games last).

I played through it in one ten-hour sitting, breaking during cutscenes for food and/or drink, plus a brief run to the store mid-way through the game.

Yeah maybe, but I really enjoyed trying to find all the easter eggs in that game.

There are alot of games that I take real slow but I mainly like to just get it done.

I barely even replay games, unless I really enjoy them.

The only games I've replayed all the way through are games that have side quests and unlockables and stuff like that (E.G. Final Fantasies (and other assorted RPGs) and MGS (playing through with the stealth suit is something you just can't pass up), and really short games.

And even then, it's generally about a year before I replay them.

The original?

Inuyasha is about as generic (not to mention boring) as they come.

#2 Full Metal Alchemist, Very cool show the story really pulls me in,

The show was okay, and sort've fell apart at the end (the ending was terrible, and it wasn't remedied at all by the movie).

#3 Samurai Champloo, Bought the entire season on DVD

Good show, but it felt just a little too much like a remake of Cowboy Bebop in a different era (a prequel?).

#4 Ghost in the Shell, Cmon who doesn't like that show?

It's never particularly interested me.

I watched segments of episodes on Adult Swim, and it seemed like it was taking itself a little too seriously.

Though I suppose my opinion isn't valid due to me not actually having seen a full episode.

Could be good, I don't know.

#5 S-CRY-ED, I loved this show it was just the best.

Has never interested me enough to check it out.

Anime I dislike ummm I'd have to say Shin-Chan and BoBoBo

The only time I ever watched Shin-Chan was a little in Japan.

InuYasha is the retarded clone of the Yu Watase epic; Fushigi Yugi. Basically same premise, Girl goes to another world through a gate. Only Rumiko was less imaginative, then Watase and actually used a gate. Kagome is basically a more emotional, and more scared version of Miaka, and has to rely on InuYasha for EVERY FUCKING THING. Also, a Half-Wolf demon? God, get the fuck out of here. Yuu Watase once emulated Rumiko, but I can tell after Inu Yasha debuted, she was all "God, what type of bad karma is this?" In short, Inu Yasha is a POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR Fushigi Yugi substitute.
