The only reason I'd ever watch that anime is because I think the name sounds hilarious.

Though I'm sure I'd be sadly disappointed at how little it really has to do with bubblegum.

Indeed, but even GGG has their share of logic in terms of the most impressive security systems which rivals GoLion's combination sequence, the GX-9900 Flash System before the After-War era and the MAGI hosted underground Tokyo-3.

Words cannot describe how much that amused me.

Now that you mention it:
Hikaru Midorikawa (a.k.a Heero Yuy and Zelgadis Greywords) and Takehito Koyasu (a.k.a Milliardo Peacecraft and Rezo) did do a 'shonen-ai' drama, in case you didn't know.

I was more thinking something along the lines of:

"Oh no! Somebody has stolen all the bubblegum, now what will the children have to chew!?"

Or

"OH DEAR LORD THE BUBBLEGUM HAS TURNED AGAINST US AND COMBINED TO FORM A GIGANTIC BUBBLEGUM MONSTER WHICH IS DESTROYING TOKYO!"

Or given that's it is "Bubblegum Crisis", maybe it'll be up to Kamen Riden/any other costumed superhero to save the day from gum-hating dentists who take over a factory or something.

Remember those collective wrappings with stickers or comics that come with bubblegum many years ago? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Challenge Time!

Name ONE, yes, ONE as in "1" or "one" scene which shows homosexuality in Gundam W: Endless Waltz.

Don't worry if you get it wrong. If you do, we still have a prize for you called "Get-Flamed"!

Well, I was watching various animes over the reconstruction, as usual, Azumanga, Ranma, and a couple newly watched.

Fushigi Yuugi. Girl anime is just so wonderful, I'm currently in the first 6 episodes (There is 52 in all, totalling two seasons). Not giving much away, the story is about a girl who get's trapped in a story, and has to find a way to get back home.

Also, i watched EVA. So far, in the 3 episodes I watched so far, I think it's a great story but god, we get the sexual innuendo. Half the time I just wanna scream "SHIN YOU RETARD, YOU'RE LIVING WITH A BIG TITTIED CHICK, GO AND FUCKING TIT FUCK THAT." And when he's with Rei "GOD DAMNIT, SHE WOULD LIKE A GOOD OL' IN-OUT, IN-OUT; THEN JIZZ IN HER FACE. "

In short, Shin is a pussy also SO WANT [NSFW]

Oh, it just gets weirder and has more sexual innuendo as it progresses. You're going to want to kill Shinji by the end.

Hahaha, badass.

In rewatching Azumanga for a bit, I'm getting quite annoyed in realising exactly how similar Lucky Star is to it.

It's like the exact same show with different characters.

It even has the same structure and everything.

Maybe so, but there actually is a difference. One sucks while the other wins.

Hahahahaha, oh Lord, yes.

Lucky Star is just Azumanga for anime trivia hounds and dullards.

This is incredibly off-topic, but THOSE DAMN BASTARDS DELETED MY SIG PIC! A year or so ago I spent a few hours making that thing. It matched the NG background perfectly (at then time I made it), I got Gaara to exactly the right speed I wanted him, and I found the perfect font. I don't have that image on my new laptop, so I can't re-load it.

Also, why does Gendo have a fab aura?

I am also pissed, the size limit change and static image only rule have totally fucked me. ALL OF MY GOOD SIGS ARE ANIMATED!!!!

It's not quite as clear cut as that.

The 'same anime but with different characters' thing doesn't quite mean it's the xact same when it's an entirely character driven show.

I just meant that it has the same structure with the little segments, brought about by its comic origins, and that it's set through High School, which is probably the same as hundreds of others.

It's irritating.

A bunch of people seemed to recognise me by my sig.

And the animation to that took me from about 6:00pm to 2:00am.

Well, duh. I know that.

Most of those hundreds of others are garbage, High School anime is an oversaturated genre.

There are several good ones, but the vast majority just feel like the same thing albeit with a different cast.

Every genre of anime is filled with ridiculous repetition (something I despise), hence my insanely finicky taste.

A bunch of people seemed to recognise me by my sig.

Same thing happened to me, and I was intending on going back to my old dancing Lum sig....

I don't pay attention to them very much.

I'm sure Azumanga seems like that too, aside from its little dream sequences it's still the same thing as any other high school anime. It just has interesting ways that its characters react to the same situations that may be in other anime.

I suppose Lucky Star is different in that it concentrates a reasonable amount more on what happens outside of school, rather than inside.

Every genre of anime is filled with ridiculous repetition (something I despise), hence my insanely finicky taste.

Every genre of everything is filled with ridiculous repetition.

The makers of these sort of things find something the audience likes, and stick with it.

Same thing happened to me, and I was intending on going back to my old dancing Lum sig....

Well, I've managed to throw together a quick sig for now anyway.

Actually, I found Azumanga to be a fair bit different from most series since it greatly ignored pointless (and convoluted) romantic subplots and literally featured no drama whatsoever.

Every genre of everything is filled with ridiculous repetition.

But with anime, thanks to limitations of availablity due to licensing, the repetitive shit sticks out much more and can be a bit harder to ignore (since some gems never have and never will be released).

TV ratings and sales figures don't lie, shit sells.

I got everything from "LUM SIG IS EPIC" to "YOUR SIG FUCKING SUCKS" to "What anime is she from?", even "Does that sig say 'Gendo loves dancing in cum'?" (which I think I got three times after I had it snowified).
