Roffle, Wonko making posts with less than 7 words = win.

Yes, but are you going to argue the point to NG? I seriously doubt it.

Besides, I quoted him for linking directly to a site which involved the Peer-to-Peer downloading of shows only available on TV or DVD and never freely distributed by an officially recognised ISP such as GYAO or Bandai Visual who have actual download/stream sites.

Hey, if HaroFreak is being really condescending towards someone else, then what's the problem with being a "smart ass" to him?

Because you miss the goddamn point, why else?

KASHIMASHI IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!!!

Hello all, I'm still on vacation, but I've stacked up on loads of anime-related stuff....
- Manga Entertainment's uber-hardcore reissue of the Read or Die OVAs (shiny slipcase + poster + mere $17.99 price tag = win)

- 1/8 Aya Hasebe statue (Cost only $14.50, its MSRP is something like $60 USD)

- Michelle Chan figure (Had R.O.D. on the brain during most of my shopping excursions, also only $5)

- Volume four of Hellsing (only volume I don't have, and I must say Dark Horse's translation is horrific. You can't understand anything Father Anderson says, it's just a bunch of slurred bollocks like "Arenae burstin' wi' joy?" and "A' richt ye bitch, we shall give ye ae taste o' oor divine punisment!")

- Volume one of Yotsuba&!, which is the best manga ever.

- Blanc et Noir: The Works of Obata Takeshi (Fantastic artbook)

- Fullmetal Alchemist 2: Illustration File 2003_2005 (Decent artbook, but waaaay too much Ed)

Sad but true.

The lack of Alex Louis Armstrong was shocking, WHERE WAS THE HOTBLOODED EPICNESS, ARAKAWA, WHERE?!

There where a few decent pics of Hughes, though, so that evened it out.

Armstrong was hardly hotblooded though.

Hughes is even more GAR than Armstrong.

Raoh: I'm disappointed.

Kenshiro: Me too.

Yeah, but still, I did not pay $34.95 for 120 pages on Edward Elric.

(Unless there are Winry-type fans who are /m/-fangirls, whom she preferred Al to be soul'd into a Gundam)

Such folks sadly do not exist.

Armstrong was hardly hotblooded though.

He's much more awesome than 90% of the rest of the cast, you must admit that.

Hughes is even more GAR than Armstrong.

A blind man could see that.

Raoh: I'm disappointed.

Kenshiro: Me too.

Speaking of Hokuto no Ken, I saw a slot machine plastered with art from the series and featuring a nice little LCD screen displaying some impressive CGI movies of the cast at an oddities shop on Wednesday. $300 it was, sucks that I had to spend $500 getting my laptop repaired, or I would have bought it.

Only because you counted the un-named bunch, but yes.

A blind man could see that.

But GAR is not seeeeeeeeeen.

Unnamed people are still there, so they count in my eyes.

Anonymous characters can be awesome from time to time, too. Like "Farmer with a shotgun" or "Doomed Zeon troop #423".

But GAR is not seeeeeeeeeen.

I was merely using a broad metaphor to describe how obvious it is that Hughes > Armstrong.

Pachinslot Emulation FTW?

More like, the entire 603 Technical Evaluation Unit.

So far, my week has consisted of watching Lupin the 3rd on G4, reading FMA and R.O.D and relaxing in general.

Sounds like last week for me. That reminds me, I've got some major catching up to do with Lupin. Thank God for the Sunday night re-runs.

Also, this means I'll be able to visit our club on a regular basis again (although, I still have to deal with my diablo 2 adictions).

Sweet, good to hear.

Read or Dream: We Are Paper Sisters Detective Company > R.O.D. The TV

In the ass.

For reals.

Also, I must warn you that shit is very different in the manga. The TV series is more of an alternate universe story (a very loose adaption of volume three, with major rewrites, appears near the middle of the series).

I don't mind rambling if it involves anime.

Since your rambling had zilch to do with the topic at hand, I disapprove.

Also, anything directed by Miyazaki or Oshii > POTC, any day of the week.

Oshii is one of my all-time favorite directors. Only You, Beautiful Dreamer, The Red Spectacles, Stray Dog, Talking Head. All of them are total masterpieces.

Though the live action one is very dissappointing.

I was never interested in the live action version, i still need to see death note though, BUt im not really hellbent on seeing it or anything.

It's a little too serious for me. I much perfer the harem comedies like Love Hina, Shuffle, Da Capo, etc. If I found another anime like School Rumble though I'd be happy.

Yeah i remember watching Tenchi universe when i was younger.....ahh good times (yet i watched it before i was even into women)

I hate harem anime. They are the bane of my existence. But as for how the Tenchi series went. Muyo and Universe were okay. Tokyo sucked. But I hate the whole genre.

The genre can get dull sometimes, but the main problem I have is how the guy is such a little bitch usually. Like he is getting fawned over by all these chicks, one usually is pretty frisky, and he just wants them to stay away. At least Tenchi had Ryoko, who kicked ass...plus nudity from the characters.

Dual was a fun Harem/Mecha show. It at least had a love interest and the parallel universe version of that love interest.....plus some cool Mecha stuff.
