I was wondering if any of you guys ever got into an anime called Claymore. The reason I ask is that I might be auditioning for a voice acting role in a Claymore fandub and I was hoping one of you folks would know about it so I could gather background info.

I'm gonna go back to my room and be awesome.

I fail to see the importance of that number.

In other news, I'm now stuck in at least three anime games.
In Robotech: Invasion (PS2), I can't clear the first mission of level 2, which is covering your wingman Arturo. Some guy with a bazooka always manages to kill Arturo before I can get a bead on him.
In Inuyasha: Secret of the Divine Jewel (DS), there's a mountain labyrinth that's hard as hell to navigate and filled with pretty strong enemies. Sometimes, it's all I can do to get everyone in my party out alive.
In Robotech: The Macross Saga (GBA), I can't even get past the first level. I've never been very good at side-scrolling shooters, so I lose too many lives on the way to the first level boss (supposedly, the only real boss battle in the game).
I haven't played .hack//Infection, Disgaea 2, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask, or Robotech: Battlecry in a while, but I'm pretty sure I could still make progress if I had the time to pick up the controller.

I've just recently been playing Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the Wii, and god damn fighting Android 18 as Hercule is too hard, but the rest of the game has been easy as usual. ^_^

Only $250? Oh wow..that's so cheap I could pay for it with loose change from my couch! ... not! Genesis is awesome, PS1...well if you don't have a ps2 then selling it would be dumb, and Gamecube can play Zelda: TP and Super Smash Bros. Melee.

And even if he sold all his machines, they probably wouldn't get him near $250.

Well the Wii is backwards compatible. You can play Gamecube games on it. And what is left for the PS1 anyway? You can't play anything new on it! And the Genesis... well... yah don't sell that I agree. And 250 dollars isn't a lot! $600 is a lot.

At least it would help.

Well if he got a Wii he would have to buy new games, which also cost money. And if he was just going to play Gamecube games, then what would be the point?
And if you don't have a PS2 or a PS1 you can't play PS1 games...

So? The PS1 had some excellent games. I still love Heart of Darkness, Tenchu 2, and Wild 9. I even plan on buying more PS1 games such as the first Tenchu game (which I've never played) the Battle Arena Toshinden games, Bushido Blade 2, Alundra, Project Horned Owl, and more.

I watched the GGGFGGG final episode. It was only the length of a normal episode, not surprising, but it did have some Betterman in it!

I just got all of GaoGaiGar Final..but Grand Glorious Gathering is bit tougher. I've gotten the first 2 episodes and the last episode, but it has Chinese subtitles, which doesn't really help much.

Yay for Mikoto using the Limpid Channel!

I know! I guess just Grand Glorious Gathering isn't as popular..maybe because of the Betterman stuff, since the anime wasn't all that popular either.

Well on one of the Betterman DVDs they have a timeline of events and the last event was Papillon going to Akamatsu Heavy Industries. That would make Betterman sort of a prequel series.

Not to mention that she was related to someone who gave Keita his Dual Kind abilities.

...

And now, I wish to suggest something for the club.

We all know that the Anime we love to watch and enjoy (or love to hate, such as End of Evangelion) is separated into many categories such as Comedy, Science-Fiction, Romance, General and Mecha.

And because of this, I want to ask for everyone's opinion whether they would want to affiliate themselves with a certain category so it would be easier to discuss among specialising groups as well (mine would be the obvious /M/). One way of implementing this is simply adding a preference mark on the side of your name on the Member List.

Categories can be discussed among us Authority Figures and Admins so it can add a little more to the club.

Care to discuss?

I'm not a big fan of that idea.

Lots of people here watch all kinds of genres of animes that span across multiple anime types, like Mecha. If you only narrowed down discussion about Mech stuff to /M/ people, then there wouldn't be many people talking. Just because I like certain Gundam Shows, Dual, and GaoGaiGar doesn't mean I'll choose /M/, but also just because I like comedy shows doesn't mean I don't want to talk about Mech stuff.

What are you going to do, start a topic about Mechs and say "ok, now all /M/ people start discussing"?

If we did this we would end up with like 10 different groups at least, with probably maybe 2 people in one group.

Alternatively, it can be merely a mark on how much one specialises in a particular genre. Mutliple 'marks' can be given if they have demonstrated much in that sub-category of course.

It is not a matter of what one majors in exclusively, but what one likes discussing in particular. If a person does fall into two or more categories, I see no reason why to deny multiple markings.

I thinl the idea is decent because it isn't really binding, but at the same time makes stuff a little less confusing. It certainly would make my day less stressful because I can point out my interests and/or strengths and hopefully keep people from assuming I know all about anime.

Aside from old-school stuff, some shojo and comedy, I don't know more than a wee bit about most anime.

That is close enough to my intentions. I only want to use this marking method as a way of knowning who knows what so it would be appropriate to discuss or quote specific people for more answers to share with everyone else.

Even I would be stumped if I only follow my /M/ traditions since I do enjoy a good comedy/romance like Taiho Shichau zo.
