Ugh, I'm sick as a dog today, must find something to do to occupy my time.
Can't wait for tomorrow afternoon, for my order will arrive, and I can finally stop re-reading stuff for a day or two.

Right-o.
Can't wait for my JJBA/Kashimashi fix, need moar manga....
I will be seeing Mibugishiden sometime this week or next week. It's about Hajime Saitou. I don't know if it's a true story about him or a fiction involving him like Rurouni Kenshin.

You must see them all.

You make it seem as if you recommend them every time someone asks for something worthwhile watching.

Specifically, it started to suck after the only (and I mean only) battle which tilts closest to 'epic' ended (The First Konoha Invasion).

Wait, what was that? Did someone whisper that I am implying that Naruto started to suck after the Akatsuki was introduced? Well, what a coincidence!
(What? The series did go downhill in terms of writing after that. <_<)

At least in Bleach, even if the writing didn't change, the Espada were a great addition. Ichigo's has had his ass kicked by those guys 4 times already....and Rukia got it even worse...

One apparent problem in Naruto; a severe absence of quality characters and an abundance of 'filler' characters.
I am not asking for epic level writing like the Count of Monte Cristo, but the addition of antagonist after antagonist which 'seems' to show some backstory only to die or vanish a few episodes/chapters later gives the name of "Flashback no Jutsu" powers which give them more superficial character depth at the cost of potentially valuable screentime. <_<

Strange how bankai is supposed to be there most powerfull form yet they have trouble with mere arrancar(the lower rank one's) I don't see how they can get anymore powerfull after getting bankai(I hope it doesn't end up like super sayains, you know like Bankai 2,bankai 3)
That's where the Vizard come in. I don't know if the Captains have a plan to become stronger, but that's why the series is still interesting...cus you want to know how anyone besides the Vizards can compete against the Espada. I think Ichigo will go back to using that "blue" power he used in the Soul Society Arc. Who even knows what Aizen's true motives are? Or the Vizards...cus barely anything is known about them...

Are you planning/currently watching Bleach? "Bankai" isn't much of a spoiler because it's nothing secret. Now who has Bankai and what it does would be a spoiler...sort of.

I may not be interested enough to continue reading on, but nevertheless; this is /M/'s image of BanKai.

Yeah, it's just a resort where all the girls in the anime go in their string bikinis to get a tan...except for Yoruichi...she's just there for the hell of it.
See?

I made it to episode 12 before I had to stop due to bootcamp. One day I will watch it, but for right now, I'm not watching any anime.
I was wondering, just how many manga series has Rumiko Takahashi done? I know of and have seen Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, and Urusei Yatsura, but I hunger for more.

List of works
Ranma ½
InuYasha
Urusei Yatsura
Maison Ikkoku
Mermaid Saga
One-Pound Gospel
Rumic Theater
Rumic World
Kuro - Puting the 'Kur' back in 'inkurable disease.'

One-Pound Gospel looks interesting. The English version was published by Viz, just like Ranma 1/2. It's a four-part series, so buying the whole thing won't set me back too much. Apparently, the main character can't stop eating, so he reminds me of myself. This is definitely going into my manga library if and when I find it in bookstores.
Did you guys watch the special Digimon thing yesterday? It was on Jetix (or however the hell you spell it). I don't usually watch it but since it was Digimon I made an exception. Now are they fillers or do we consider them movies? The first was 50 minutes, the second was like 1 hour, the third was around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and the final one was about 1 hour as well. I guess the last three have never been shown in English before. Do you know if there will be any more?

It depends; were they trying to 'force' it into (but not replacing) the canon choronology in the form of a separate airing (i.e. not among the 'normal' sagas)?

I think it still pertained to the storyline. Revenge of Diaboramon kept with the canon chronology of the Digimon Movie. The second one seemed to pertain to it. There wasn't anything weird besides the fact that Omnimon was on the net and could not come out. And that the main bad guy Digimon in the second one they had shown I guess was a part of an old main bad guy Digimon. He was the one that was one half on top of a prism-like metal thing. Then the third one probably weirded me out the most. The three main characters (Rika, Henry, and Takato) already had their Biomerge forms, Impmon had his digivolved form, and the one guy who was the champion of the card game also had his. And he came from the Digital World. The final one was pretty on track too. Just nothing big. Do they have to include things from the normal saga to not be called fillers?

Worse still, I made the mistake of reading a spoiler guide, and I now officially hate Viz for choosing to only publish part three of JJBA, because now Dio won't even have a full on-screen appearance until the last two volumes.

Which means that'll be yet another series I need to buy a million volumes of....

* POSSIBLE MINOR SPOILERS!
No, Viz has shortened the series to 16 volumes (they're only covering part three), but only 7 have been released and Dio only makes minor cameoes until volume 14.
*END SPOILERS!*
On top of that, I want to prioritize and buy older series (especially out-of-print stuff like Urusei Yatsura) first, so chances are I won't finish JJBA until around late 2008 (and that's assuming Viz finishes publishing it this year).

Are they going to do Steel Ball Run as a separate translation process, or are they taking into account that it is part of the Jojo chronology Canon?

I don't think they plan on translating any of the other Jojo stories, sadly.

Is that so? That's too bad since that would be their one chance of expanding on what was merely known as a meme outside Japan (or the majority of Asia anyway).

Why, just because the series they are translating are raking in poor amounts of cash?
Speaking of which, confirmed rumors are spreading from /M/ that Media-Blasters is cancelling Hot Blood and Courage. This is not how dubbing should be done, damn it. Even if it does not par with the original, I still want to see how foreign countries can dub to clean the branding known as "Dubs".
