No, but my friend Nate (a vehement hater of the series, but a complete audiophile) owns all of them.

I like the remixe's they did for Fly me to the moon.

I didn't. A million remixes that only slightly change a song that's not all that fascinating a listen to begin with = fail

Pop standards like that only ever worked for Sinatra IMO.

Also, "remixes". It's not a possesive or contraction, thusly you don't use an apostrophe.

GOD DAMNIT! STOP MAKING STUPID POSTS!

Anyway, I saw an episode of Green Green. It was pretty good. Though I am not a fan of Comedy Anime. I tend to find them very unfunny. Though that's just me. I perfer something different.

Green Green was my friend Tom's "guilty pleasure" of the year, he's a serious closet otaku.

Perfectly acceptable opinion.

If you were sorry about using bad grammar, YOU'D FUCKING STOP IT.
You made the same mistake twice, and you spelt "grammar" wrong.

FLY ME TO THE MOON <YOKO TAKAHASHI Acid Bossa Version>" was pretty cool i thought, made it a tropical kind of jam.

Is it just me, or does that sound an absolutely awful idea?

Way to assume the question was directed at you.

I already know your opinion on the song, I'm asking the others for their thoughts.

No, mainly because it is part of the wall.

Though this one is a bit too small, the more experienced fans may know a few of these titles by heart.

*SPOILERS*

I dunno, and what's worse is most of the series either end with some kind of cliffhanger (like Alucard and Integra being arrested as traitors to the Queen and country, or the three travellers going their seperate ways with no definite fate for any of them). You're dying to know what happens next...

Also, what the Hell happened to Walter (who may have died, because the last few see of him is a shot of him being carried off on a stretcher) and Seras at the end of Hellsing?

*END SPOILERS*

Ranma's anime ending was the result of the studio runnin out of funding. The Ranma anime ending was the worst anime ending ever, save Furubu's ending.

The last two series I've seen that had satisfying endings were R.O.D. The TV (which had a nice little epilogue thrown in to tie up the few loose ends) and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Speaking of which, I remember hearing somewhere that the Japanese version of Neon Genesis Evangelion played a different version of "Fly Me To The Moon" at the end of each episode, whereas the US version on Cartoon Network played the same ending theme every time. Is there any truth to that?

I've heard the same thing, but I never caught it during it's CN airing and although I haven't watched my DVDs of the series since last Summer, I am quite sure the same ending theme was used for each episode.

I am also curious...

-Tsubasa chronicles

Never read.

-Love hina ( note that I've lost my place in it and I'm missing a few volumes, also the store has none of which I need to continue where I left off)

Ah, that can be a slight problem.

-Lupin the 3rd

Epic win

-Ranma 1/2 (same as L.H)

Man, that bites.

-Asumanga Dao

Azumanga Daioh is one of the best humor series ever, simple narrative + depthy characters = win

-R.o.D

Must buy.

Also, to the new guy. I really don't like you, avoid pissing me off.

I was considering to get:

-Samurai Champloo

Great series. Always a good choice, though the tie in to hip-hop did make it strange sometimes, it usually didnt present a problem.

-Tsubasa chronicles

I need to look this up.

-Love hina ( note that I've lost my place in it and I'm missing a few volumes, also the store has none of which I need to continue where I left off)

A friend lent this to me. Im going through and it has its moments. Overall I like it.

-Lupin the 3rd

Always loved this one. Always will.

-Ranma 1/2 (same as L.H)

I've been trying to get my hands on it forever.

-Asumanga Dao

Again i have to look this up.

-R.o.D

I own the first and still going to buy the rest, although im a little distracted by Death (not dead) Note. Im also picking up Evangelion, I already seen it through to the end, i just want to own it.

My vote goes to Champloo. Aswell.

You will not regret buying it, one of the finest two volume series I've read.

But be warned, it's quite in-joke heavy and has a mediocre ending.

Mayhaps I should suggest you rent a few Toshiro Mifune films before reading it, it would certainly make it a bit easier to get the jokes.

Good, that's a great mentality to have.

Alright, anyway I was planning to make a movie night sometime this week.

Mifune films are epic, I should make a point of having a mini-marathon sometime soon as well.

Seven Samurai and Throne of Blood = win

The Shogun's Samurai
Yojimbo
Sanjuro
Zatoichi Meets Yojimbo
The Bad Sleep Well

Also, some Shintaro Katsu and Takeshi Kitano is nice as well.

Zatoichi (the 2003 or 1989 versions, both are great)
The Tale of Zatoichi
Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman & the Chess Expert
Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman Samaritan

Because that's the only one of the two dubs available on Region 1 DVD at the moment.

Not that dumb lulz are a bad thing, I was just disappointed by the fact that not too much plotwise happens in season two. Season two still wins in my book for having the best episode of the whole series.
