Hmmm...

-Cowboy Bebop
-I believe Pokemon is considered an Anime.

Oh uh, wow. He paralyzes his father, and dates his father's daughter, making him an incestuous fart.

...

GOROU ISN'T HIS FATHER.

Hahaha, what?

I remember that Robotech: The Macross Saga, did air back in 1998 on Toonami, but I believe you may have confused "some guy who sings" with the most definitely female Lynn Minmei.
I thought the people thought she was a....she,but then she said nope im a guy..then sang a song.....yike's.

There's only one character in Robotech that matches that descripton. Lancer from Robotech: The New Generation (Genesis Climber Mospeada). He performed under the alias Yellow Belmont (Yellow Dancer in Robotech) to disguise himself from the Invid.

I only started watching the Anime when I first saw it at 5:00 Am. I never really got the chance to see the first and a lot of the other episodes.

GOROU ISN'T HIS FATHER.

Correct me for my shit Mr. Knowitall. :/

OBV Goru is Rachel's father, but anyway, come now Cased closed was a pretty entertaining anime.

I love it when people bitch and complain when I get something totally wrong on a topic. Anyways, yeah... The Cases in Case Closed were epic. Some of them I solved right and wrong. It kinda an interactive anime in a way.

Guess what? I'm gay!

Congradulations buddy! :D

Well, I missed that. I watched Toonami then, but never caught that.

heh. I remember when Moltar from Space Ghost was the host of Toonami before little, pudgy, blue and white Tom came along (voiced, of course, by Stephen Jay Blum because he gets all the voice acting work).

I thought it was good, but one thing bothered me. How is it that the main characters always stumble upon the scene of a crime before the crimes are commited? The creators of the show must have considered that, though, since it's an obvious thing. It still bugs me, though. Somebody always gets killed when they go somewhere.

Same goes for Murder She Wrote. Amazing how many people can die in such a small town... everywhere that old lady went people got killed.

Murder mystery shows all have people dying constantly...it doesn't start a stereotype, it just goes with the drama type.

Moot point, given that a Murder Detective Story without actual Murders = Pointless. Might as well categorise it as either a comedy/parody or Musashi Quality.

Great point. He had to have murders. It one of those glaring issues that most people refuse to acknowledge for that very reason. We know its not realistic, but damned if it isnt entertaining.

Larceny and other forms of lesser crimes work too, but nothing gets a scene going as well as a Murder victim.

At 4/3/07 12:40 AM, Akatsuki321 wrote: So guy's..what was the most expensive anime boxset you ever bought?

I'm a notorious bargain hunter, so the most I've ever spent on a boxset was $68.75 on the LE version of the first Hellsing OVA.

I usually buy more expensive sets (complete series, etc.) second-hand, during holiday sales or from discount sites, so even though Hellsing was the most expensive, it is far from the most valuable.

Hahaha, shut up.

How on Earth is that a stereotype? Further still, name one decent detective TV series that doesn't have at least one murder or serious violent crime per episode.

You are clearly very easily annoyed.

Try actually coming up with a factual basis for your statements....otherwise you just come off as an uneducated simpleton.

also when you saying about the hellsing OVA,the most expensive for me so far was,69.99$ for the ranma season two box set.

Hahaha, I got that for $25. Worth every penny.

Not that's it's because you're wrong or anything, because that is totally impossible.

It doesn't matter how "decent" the post looks, if you've got factual errors or no way of persuading people to believe your opinion, it fails.

I saw the ranma boxset's for over a hundred bucks, i found one 39.00$ on one site, but then forgot where i found it. So i had no choice but to hand over some big dough.

I searched for months to get mine, too many sites had it for $99-120 and I was too fucking lazy to try and find a store that had an out of print boxset of a series well over a decade old.

Umm, one of founding doctrines of this club is that no series, no matter how much it may suck, is to be ostracized. As long as my word still holds weight around here, I will make sure intelligent criticism doesn't devolve into baseless bashing.
