Goldion Hammer is very swexxy, but I don't know if Hammer Hell and Heaven is cooler than Hell and Heaven...though I was getting a little tired of the same old moves. Damn do they repeat the same stuff a lot!

Both are just as awesome in their own way; one involves ripping the core out of an enemy with bare hands (or Gaunlets) and the other involving a massive hammer which reduces targets into light.

Either way, Hiyama gives Life to attacks.

I'd have a hard time choosing.

The anime was absolutely amazing, for it had a little bit of everything. The manga, on the other hand, is pretty much a straight-up "WTF?!" style comedy with plenty of limb-severing and loads of in-jokes and references to old samurai films and anime.

The manga is very short (less than 400 pages spread over two volumes) and has no real conclusion at all (it's almost worse than the anime's horrific ending), it's also totally lacking in drama.

Another thing it doesn't have is the music. IMO, the music is what made Samurai Champloo so awesome.

As much as I liked the manga, I cannot deny that the anime is simply better.
