You serious? Why not? I mean there are SO MANY things that America could have done that would make almost a third of the world today under U.S. control. Russia was weak. Could've taken out them. England nor France were in any condition to complain about us doing so. Plus we could have taken Japan! Just use Hirohito (I think) as a puppet ruler. China? Well China probably hated the Japanese quite a lot (since they were at war with them until that time) and probably would have supported our actions. And if we decided to give China Taiwan I'm sure they would have been so freaking happy that they would back us up no matter what we did. Except for attack them of course. I think that sums up ONE of my plans for world domination if I ever came across a time machine. Others involve Germany.

You people must not realize WHEN I'm talking about. Directly, I repeat, DIRECTLY after WW2 we were practically the king of the freaking world! No one could oppose us until the 50s, when those damned Sovies decided to take us on in the Cold War.

It's not supposed to.

Now lets see. Who do you think is the most badass villain of all time? Most powerful? Weakest? Most pathetic?

Not exactly 'most powerful', but I can give a good bet that Char Aznable would be a major candidate for his charisma and his 'taste in girls', if you know what I mean. XD

If it's not supposed to be funny or intelligent, then don't fucking post it.

That will be your first and final warning.

SPOILERS!!!

Now lets see. Who do you think is the most badass villain of all time?

Alexander Anderson(Hellsing), just because he's a mad Catholic priest with holy socket bayonnets and a Scottish accent. Being a Scottish Catholic myself, I find him to be very win.

Most powerful?

While most people will vote for some overpowered fighting anime villain, my vote goes to Vincent Volaju (Cowboy Bebop) because he is physically strong, utterly reckless and nigh unkillable.

Weakest?

Ginsa Momochi (Samurai Champloo), 'nuff said.

Most pathetic?

Maabou Kakihara (Koroshiya Ichi), he starts out as a complete badass but turns into a sobbing wuss after getting cornered by Ichi in the vacant apartment complex.

END SPOILERS!!!

Also, LOL @ Weasel's response.

Ah yes, I better answer the rest as well.

At 3/19/07 06:26 PM, Twilight-Knight wrote: most badass villain of all time?

With such Charisma and badassness to even join the Protagonists' side in between the timelines, Char Aznable would have to be it.

Most powerful?

GGG Related Spoilers

If the Piza Sol was able to fully charge and make full use of the Pas-Q Machine in time before Guy destroyed it with Goldion Crusher, it would mean that the other 10 Masters of Sol would have unlimited growth and regeneration, therefore making them unstoppable.

End GGG Related Spoilers

Weakest?

Sadly, joke villains such as the ones from Bomberman (gag manga) would fit the bill.

Most pathetic?

The former half of ZZ's Neo Zeon, of course. It's as if their pilots and soldiers were jokes until the latter half.

Now you didn't say intelligent. You said "to educate me".

Anyway...

Favorite?

Dark Gundam. Well it's a tie actually. Three-way tie to be exact. Dark Gundam (G Gundam), Demon King (SS), and Galactus (Marvel). Sorry about not saying so earlier, but you can pick anyone.

This calls for a semi-decent debate:

SPOILERS

Because the Ultimate Gundam was built for recovering the Earth's damaged condition, it was not built for combat and when it did become the "Devil Gundam", it had one critical design flaw:
The Core was not just easily exposed, but was also in the same victinity of the Devil Gundam itself. Therefore making it vulnerable to attack easily in which no level of regeneration can save it if its core does get destroyed.

END SPOILERS

And for those who have read the above anyway, discuss.

Okay, Gendo, Haro, I have a confession to make.
I have never managed to watch much of the Gundam series.
Gundam Wing: I was too interested in legos at the time to care about mecha combat. I glanced at the TV now and then, but that's about it.
08th MS Team or 0083, whichever was on AS a few years back, like right after it changed from Midnight Run: Didn't pay much attention to it.
Gundam SEED: Kept missing episodes.
MS Gundam: Didn't think it was worth watching.
Keep in mind that for most of these, I was like 12 or 13 when they started showing on CN, so I can't quite do much more but repent for my sins.
That said, what IS the basic message behind the Gundam series? And if it's "War is bad, mmmkay," then I guessed it without watching nearly episodes, and I shall be proclaimed Nostradamus.

Alright, now for a personal rant.
GIVE US MIYU FASTER DAMN YOUSE! I must see Miyu in full-on action. For grand justice.

And if expanding on the discussion I intend to have with all spoilers aside:

At least in SRW R, there were multiple Devil Gundam units controlled by a main one with a different person as the core...

LE GASP!!!

Gundam Wing: I was too interested in legos at the time to care about mecha combat. I glanced at the TV now and then, but that's about it.

Understandable, Lego was bitchin' back in the olden days.

08th MS Team or 0083, whichever was on AS a few years back, like right after it changed from Midnight Run: Didn't pay much attention to it.

Cripes! Way to miss out on what was probably the most win-tacular series.

Gundam SEED: Kept missing episodes.

You're not really missing anything, it was shit.

MS Gundam: Didn't think it was worth watching.

ARGH!!!!

Well, really and truly, the series hasn't aged all that well and wouldn't have really appealed to a 12-year-old, but still, ARGH!!!

You missed out on the two biggest badasses in Gundam history, buddy.

Yes, very yes.

Endless Waltz was my personal favorite Gundam movie, and G Gundam is the sex. I have a Rose Gundam model sitting on my TV stand right now.

Asides from the Battle Assault series, you still have to watch the original and if at all possible, watch the Z Gundam TV and Movies for the winnage.
