Man, the memories....it's been so long since I've seen the show and in less than an hour and a half it'll be on again.

Not to mention Spawn and Macross Plus, man, if any of those four ever got aired again on Teletoon.....

Oh well, IFC Canada airs Macross Plus: Movie Edition to death, so I'm not really missing that, but Teletoon aired the four-episode OVA, which was more awesome.

I long for the old days on Teletoon, anime + adult animation = epic

Now all they do is air old cancelled Fox programs and some of Adult Swim's older series.

Hahaha, I was the opposite. I couldn't stand the movie, but I loved S.A.C. for some reason.

Yes! Another Berserk fan!

Thanks for the info, mate.

As for me being a big fan, I just started watching the anime. i haven't seen enough to start liking it that much.

As for the manga, I don't like reading manga all that much. It action-filled parts are often much worse when showed only in still pictures. As for the Berserk manga in particular, it's going to be a big problem for me to get my hands on a copy, unless I find one on-line. I live in Israel, and finding comics of any kind is kinda difficult around here. Besides, if I were to start reading manga, I'd read Full Metal Alchemist.

If words were wisdom, I'd be talking even more.

Man, BECK was been epic so far, better yet, two episodes per day of it Monday-Friday, meaning the series will finish airing long before the DVDs are released.

The downside is it will be over in a little over two weeks....

Ah, but the more you watch it the more you'll be pulled into it I bet. I'm going with the assumption that series such as Berserk are to your liking that is.

Yeah I know what you mean about the fighing scenes and all but you really shouldn't stray from manga if that is it. Sure it's confusing at times but the art is of a higher quality than anime is all, if not most of the time. You could try ordering online or something but I don't know how well ordering from an American site from overseas works. But even if you do read manga FMA is a good choice as well. I've only seen the anime of it though and I'm too lazy to drive a long way for a few mangas and such.

Trivia comes around every now and then I think, Kouga is LLStarks (if you didn't know that), and Wonko isn't a member of the club and has yet to join.

Tink isn't here period. Mostly on myspace these days which I'm trying to get her to come back here. But yeah.

I can guarantee that those who have missed out on the Manga version of Fullmetal Alchemist is missing a lot of "universe expansion" and plenty of in-drawn parodies (ROCKETO PAAAAANCHI!!!).

Yes, oh God yes. Max fucking wins.

With a name like "Max Jenius", would you expect anything less? Even though the US adaptation, Robotech, gave him the name "Max Sterling", it's still a clear indication that he's full of win.
That reminds me, what are your impressions of the Gundam pilot from the L4 Colony Cluster, Quatre Raberba Winner?

The first thought that came to my head when I saw his family line and ethnic is: "lol genetics"

Asides from that, I think it's a shame that he was portrated poorly in the dub in which the tone of voice used made him easier to be the butt of pacifist/hypocrite jokes unlike the original (of course).

Mild Game-Related Spoiler
I got to love using the Maganac Attack which consists of a Mobile Suit Rush in the SRW Series though. XD

Yeah, after finishing the anime, the manga was money well-spent. The better story, further developed characters and humor was definitely worth it.

That's for damn sure.

He was awesome, even if the dub made him seem like a hypocritical wuss.

How does being in Iraq prevent you from posting a top ten list and a character of your same gender to represent you?

I'm such a fan of VG Cats! Although I don't like the one where they make fun of One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, and others all in one comic. That one was pretty stupid.
