Indeed. You should be keelhauled for such an offense. In other news, I just saw Ghost in the Shell for the first time. The movie, not that stupid show. It was, unfortunately, a dub. Still I greatly enjoyed it and it's premise. The artwork looked dated, but that is not a detraction, especially since it worked so well for this. Just like Akira's art. It had a nice silouette moment early on. I definetly rexommend it to anyone with more than three brain cells.

I recently got the English dub and am wondering whether it was censored or not. On the one hand, there's still much gore. On the other, there's nothing to extraordinary. Also, people are drawn without genitals. Is this the case with the original Japanese version as well?

As far as I know, no it is not. You still get to view Casca's breasts and I think a shot of someones penis and a whole lot of Griffith and Guts ass but that's about it nudity wise. Gore and blood are the main points that stand out. Although a lot of the most brutal parts of the manga covered in the anime were removed a good deal of it is still in the anime. But yeah, not that I know of. You're getting it the way it was aired over in Japan.

You really REALLY should read the manga. The anime leaves so much out and is one episode short of twenty-six due to the studio ran out of funding for the last episode. It leaves you on a cliff hanger. Not to mention it leaves a key fight out with one of the apostles and head of the Mad Dog Unit. Not to mention the true reason why the King imprisoned Griffith. Plus it's just so fucking awesome. Anyone who calls themselves a fan of Berserk and have only seen the anime is really depriving themselves of an awesome series that goes much farther than the anime. Currently there are thirty one manga chapters and I believe the eighteenth or so was just released here in the states by Dark Horse Comics who thankfully have left most, if not all of the original manga intact. Nudity, blood, gore, foul language and all.

In all honesty if you love dark and violent anime/manga series I beg of you, on my knees BEG OF YOU to purchase the Berserk manga and read it. Never has there been such a man above alle verything else that screams 'I AM MAN' in one character before. I mean we are talking about a character who shouldn't even be alive after everything he's been through. Not to mention he won this years saiGAR contest.

Can somebody give me a list of mangas that deal with sports? Because my brother just brought back from the library like 20 mangas and 2 or 3 of them were some manga about basketball. I already have seen Prince of Tennis and I absolutely love that show. But basketball? I just think it's a step too far.

I know of Eyeshield 21 which is about American football and the basketball manga you are thinking of is probably Slam Dunk or something. There are thirty-one volumes releases so far, the first eighteen of them have been released here in the states by Dark Horse Comics and cost around $15USD after taxes.
