Indeed. 26 episodes is a good amount and it keeps good consistency in quality without overused stock footage *CoughSEEDDestinyCough*.

and at least it had a happy ending.

I personally like the bittersweet ones a bit more; the kind where a massive ordeal builds up and ends with a massive bang. It ends happily, but at the same time it leaves a kind of irreplacable sadness in it that might even bring manly tears.

Though something by the famous "Kill-em-all" is a nice change of pace.

That doesn't really matter with me. I'm just an endless fountain of boiling rage. There is literally nothing that I do not hate. I used to think my oceans of ager were botomless, but I appear to have run out for the moment.

Saw more FLCL. The classical music that plays in episode 3 is called "The Comedians Gallop" and is always a piece I've enjoyed. It's also very fitting for a show like FLCL. However, the massive amounts of fanservice bother me. I don't like fanservice and this show has a lot. I still think Excel Saga was better.

I've recently purchased a Nintendo DS Lite, and I'm already about 70% through Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. Yesterday I completed the Goonin Trials and noticed a Dragonball reference.

***POSSIBLE SPOILERS***

In Tokyo Tom's Dojo of the Body, he tells you that he's hidden somewhere in the room and you must find & attack him. I could see movement behind an American flag right in front of me that looked out of place in the Japanese-themed dojo, so I immediately Elasto Blasted that spot. Apparently I didn't hit him, but it shook the rafters and he fell from the ceiling.

***End Spoilers***

The whole 'ninja hidden behind the conspicuous American flag' bit reminded me of Ninja Murasaki, and I laughed until the end of the trial.
