G4 started airing Tenjho Tenge the other night. I'm watching the second episode right now.

It's not what I expected, but it's still watchable.

Something to fill the 9:30 to 10:00 void (which would be before House on Tuesdays and Criminal Intent every other day of the week) on weeknights.

Holy shocking turnabout, Batman! Tenjho Tenge has turned into an utter yawn-fest!

Tonight's episode (as well as bit of reading ahead in the story) has killed my interest. I cannot believe how dull and uniteresting it's become.

The dub sucks, and the dialog is a whole new level of stupid.

I know what you mean. In the beginning they showed some cool fights and the series looked like it would be good...and then the flashback started..and it lasted..and lasted..and lasted.

What is that series about?

Well it starts out with these two "bad ass" guys who go to a new school, where there are a bunch of strong fighters who are better than they are. It starts out revolving around them pissing off the school's fighers and joining a fighting club...but then it becomes all about the backstory of the school's top fighters.

The plot doesn't seem like it's going anywhere....and it's so different from the manga (which was essentially a straight-up ecchi series 60% of the time and an action story the other 40%).

Speaking of the manga, don't even bother with CMX's release, it is sanitized (the billion or so scenes in volumes one and two with rape and/or lesbian content are FUCKING GONE) beyond belief.

I'm reading the Berserk manga after finial finding out where I hid it. Seems the stupid thing was hiding in a remote folder that can only be found through a search instead of finding the actual folder or typing the the location in the browser. Not to mention about five different anime OSTs and about 12 assorted anime episodes that I had to re-obtain because of some stupid selection. Basically, it was a hidden folder with the Berserk manga inside.

Good thing though is I now have a manga viewer which is awesome for viewing manga with, hence the name. Basically it's like a picture slide show but the image gets enlarged a tad and has a whole bunch of different functions for easy viewing and selecting of other files. Since I woke up at 6:30pm yesterday[after falling asleep around 8:00am earlier the same day.]I'm just going to brew me a pot of coffee and read some more and probably finish up Suzumiya as well.

I've decided I'm going to give the series Akagi a go. From what I was told it seems to be a decent series and it never hurts to try new ones. It's about majhong so it can't be all that bad. I mean, I LOVED the Hikaru No Go manga and it was about a board game. Shame it ended so suddenly, I'll have to give the anime a go one of these days as well.

GaoGaiGar is going to take WAY TOO LONG so I'll have to either say no to it or wait the time it takes. Took G Gundam about fourteen days and it was smaller than GaoGaiGar. I can't possibly think of it being longer.

Probably give Fate/Stay Night and Code Geass a go after Akagi, maybe Monster as well, don't know. I'm always open to suggestions to any anime series, pretty much any kind works for me.

Good news: Local bookshop has a few volumes of Rozen Maiden in stock!

If I had the current funds I'd do the 80 mile round trip the the nearest book store and pick up the current ones just to have them. Gah, what a bother having a low paying job and insane bills at that. I'd have already bought about ten series and a few of them be manga ones if I had a better paying job. I want my Gungrave DVDs NOW. >: (

That and a few OSTs too, some through playasia of course since some don't get brought over right way when series are licensed.

I'm kinda glad I live in the southern part of the USA, hardly any winter weather hits the mountains. Even then it's only like two inches at best. Currently about fifty degrees. Darn global warming, I want some snow.

I dont about the downloading part but you could watch just about every ep in just about every anime on youtube. As for the recommened anime i would recomend bleach, Fma, Rurouni Kenshin, and tsubasa chronicles! but those are just my favorite out of 67 ani8mes i watched.........

Okay looks I need to bust some balls. Smc316 technically we can't talk about youtube either since it's an illegal form of watching the anime (people who submit the clips don't have the license to). Dug through five feet of snow to drive to the mall today, and I got to read volume one of Rozen Maiden.

It's a decent series, but the pacing is a tad slow. I think I'll wait and watch the anime.

Started and finished Puni Puni Poemi. I'm rewatching the 2 episodes with the commentary on...it is pretty funny. Only got through half of the second episode so far...cus Puni Puni Poemi is forever, but Scrubs is only on for the next hour.

It's like a short series version of the last episode of Excel Saga!
