I shall accept responsibility for this because I was the leader who approved the wiki list. To restore the honor of the Anime Club, I will commit seppuku ... as soon as I can afford a katana - I'm still kinda wiped out from the anime convention and the subsequent online purchases of figures and snacks.

So I finished Fruits Basket and Pani Poni Dash. Fruits Basket did pick up some eventually, but in the end it was just ok. Lots and lots of annoying talking (i guess girls like that) and I don't get what the problem is with lots of the characters...like because of some story about animals from the past, characters don't like each other. Pani Poni Dash also picked up.

I feel good when I know what anime they are referencing in those animes that use lots of cultural/manga/anime references.

That animes sounds a lot like Fate-Stay Night, where people recieve warriors who fight eachother to get a grand prize. Lots of differences, but the main idea is similar.

Man, I was up 'til six in the morning last night watching anime with a friend. We started the night off heading to the cinema to see Curse of The Golden Flower (an excellent but very tragic film) kicked back for eight hours of Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo and Ranma 1/2.

I started watching Scrapped Princess. Also looking at Urusei Yatsura. I have had Narutaru for a while...but I dont know if I really want to watch another graphic child violence series, plus I heard the ending is a bit open..so i would need to read the manga to get real closer.

Scrapped Princess is good though. I like the fantasy style, like Slayers, with people wearing gloves, boots, and capes/robes.

Even though I already own both on DVD, I watch them religiously on TV. I love Razer for picking them up.

Finished Rozen Maiden and I must say it's a very satisfying series if I do say so myself. I don't know why but shojo series at times[if you can call this series one]are nice. The peacefulness of it all and I guess you could say romance of it is good once in a while. I've started Traumend earlier today and will be watching it this week. Very nice, very nice indeed. I guess I can say that I really am in love with this series. A new found 10 in my books.

In other news Rozen Maiden is now owned by Geneon as of the 12th. Hopefully they'll get the wording right and fill the Desu void since there is no English equivalent to the word. That or they'll say 'Fuck the VA's lets just sub it and release it.' like most companies should do. *nods*

It's funny how life can really suck at times, and I mean REALLY SUCK. Yet, sitting down and watching an anime makes all that hate and anguish melt away as if it's healing your heart. God... how I love anime. I can't think of life without it.

I've got much faith in Geneon, most of my favorite series of the past few years have been given great dubs by Geneon.

As for the whole "Desu" thing, that certainly will present some issues in translation....

Yeah. Some of it is still fucking me over like the last name on the list is blue instead of black and I swear some of the names are a different font as well. Fucking mind games that thing is. But yeah, even I was surprised when she gave me access to the list and her account, making me all important and such around this place even though I haven't done a whole lot.

What's this? A good and satisying end? And it is happy and uplifting? Yay! Some people wanted a few characters who died to come back to life...but most of those are just fangirls who thought the guy was good looking. Maybe CZ/Cin could have came back...but she was a Peacemaker, not a human... plus she got closure at the very end.

The ending is reminisant of Slayers Next and Slayers Try. Showing all the characters at the end moving on with their lives and being happy.

And also at the end of Slayers Next, where Gourry and Lina are holding each other, but when they regain their senses she gets mad and starts yelling and hitting him (though atleast she wasn't naked).....
