Finally finished re-watching Outlaw Star.

**************SPOILERS FOR OUTLAW STAR*******************

Even though the series ended with a semi-satisfying ending I can't keep myself from wanting more. Sure, they traveled to the Galactic Leyline and all, found out what Melfina really was killed Hazanko and all but it's still lacking. I mean, what happens after all of that? They were heading out to a new system and it can only make one think about what could happen. Case in point, sequel needs to be made.
Not to mention about what'll become of the MacDougal brothers.

With Outlaw Star finished I just went through the first episode of Berserk. I've only seen the first three so in a way they are still blurry to me.

But, doesn't the servant's head/face region looks somewhat like a vagina when he transforms?

Outlaw Star is probably my favorite anme and yes the ending was lacking. I heard the Manga is very different from the anime. i haven't gotten a chance to read it do. Also there is a spin off of Outlaw Star called Angel Links. haven't seen it either. it dosen't look as good.

The character i would like to be is Rock Lee from Naruto.

I finally got my hands on the first Black Jack Movie, and I dare say it's made of epic drama win.

Now to find a copy of the recent movie adaptation "Futari no Kuroii Isha"...

His body was blasted to pieces when he was a child due to an un-disarmed mine he came across, and he was operated on by Dr. Honma. Unsalvagable body parts were donated to by a school friend of his, and his mother who was also victimised by the mine.

The linear-retelling (not to be mistaken with "retconning") known as Black Jack 21 changed it slightly to give the overall story a different perspective and somewhat happier endings (Though not as heavily edited as the 2003 Black Jack TV airing).

No, no. Not like that. I only meant how the overall stories concluded, because Tezuka Productions wanted Black Jack to appeal to a younger audience this time around, they had more 'happier' endings.

One example would be the Chaper/Karte known as "Nadare".
While the original storyline had the 'character of the week's' fiance' die and his surgically altered deer dead by his hand, the TV series was changed to have the fiance' saved by Black Jack and the deer's fate left unknown.

I knew that's what you meant, but I don't know how a show like Black Jack would be even close to the same without the necessary grimness.
