Nope, it was an American-produced series.

I'm actually not a fan of the little gashapon figures and such, I buy the 1/8 scale polystone statues. I'm also a Magic fan, I've been collecting for years.

My favorite soda is the stuff Goya makes, especially guarana, tamarind, and cocnut. I also really like the strawberry flavor.

Peach? I would love to try that.

Speaking with Okinawa as my permanent duty station, I feel I should tell you most popular soda's are Dr Pepper or Coke.

Of course, Dr. Pepper and Coke have damn-near worldwide domination in the soda market.

I finished Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure. It's a good series...mixing harem and mecha anime together.

STUFF THAT MAY SPOIL SERIES. O NOESS!!!*****************

It ends the way harem/lots of friends together anime should end, with all the characters staying together. For anyone who has watched Tenchi Muyo GXP, you should also watch this series, since it is a parallel universe to the Tenchi universe, especially GXP.

END O SPOILER STUFF**************************

All of this talk about soda makes me wish I could still find Inca Cola from the Coke company.

I'm about halfway through Outlaw Star right now. I haven't had much time to watch it recently due to other things.[Seems like every off day I have I'm usually out of the house visiting relatives or working to keep this house clean] After that I can start watching Berserk. I'd like to read the manga as well hearing how it ends the series better just like the Hellsing manga does over the anime. I plan on watching the Rozen Maiden series after both of those. The whole "4chan /a/ Desu" thing has gotten me interested as to why so many people like this series. Kinda shying away from it since I've heard it's not all that good and Traumend was a total failure. But then again I guess I won't know until I watch it for myself right? Right.

A few nights ago I was finally able to watch the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. The ending was kinda disapointing but it did tie up a good amount of the loose ends left in the series. I was also able to watch Akira again after seven years, all digitally remastered and everything. Man was that amazing, a step up from the old VHS copy with the scratch sound and fuzzy picture. What a classic.

---

I can't help but listen to the Gungrave ending theme by Scoobie Do over and over again. It's just so catchy and cool. That kind of cool that if you don't listen to it at least once in your life you can never be called cool, ever. Not only is Gungrave an amazing series but Scoobie Do is a phenomenal band to boot. Even though the anime didn't follow the game I'd still like to see it continue or something involving the Overdoes game. Juji and RB and some awesome characters.

Let us all pay our respects to Saddam Hussein, for if it was not for him, this club wouldn't have been founded on the day that the Iraq War began back in 2003.

You mean you couldn't even bother to turn to the first page? It clearly lists the date as "3/21/03".

Also, the Iraq war began on March 20th, not the 21st. So neither of you are really correct.

Either way, I don't think we owe a horrid dictator anything....

No, there are only two according to Wikipedia.

So I finished watching Grenadier, Dual!, and Azumanga Diaoh. I'm going to start watching Pani Poni Dash again I think...I stopped around episode 4 or 5. It's somewhat like Azumanga, but not as funny so far. Osaka was funny and so was the opening.

Anyone know the name of a space mecha anime about a young guy who trains to pilot these large robots that defend Earth from these aliens? They are in a space station while training. And amazingly he is able to pilot one of the mechs, even though it would've killed a normal person (though when he was scanned for defects he had none).

I've just purchased Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime for the Nintendo DS. As soon as I get the DS Lite itself (restocked in the Greater Columbus area sometime after New Year's Day), what kind of anime-based games are available?

Oh, loads of 'em. The DS is a great system for anime-based games, it even has an Urusei Yatsura dating sim!

Now I really badly want a DS....

Are you kidding? I was sitting in the chow hall eating breakfast with my friend when they hanged him at 0600, on December 30th. My friend said it was the best birthday present ever.

All games related to anime or made from series according to wiki. Look for games that say 'DS' by them and such. For good games for the DS in general I'd suggest to you both of the Castlevania games above all else. New Super Mario Bros. is good but too short. Heard the Phoenix Wright games are neat and I've been wanting to give Final Fantasy III a go too.

All in all I've not seen all that many anime games for the DS. They are gaining ground but not fast enough.
