I like this guy....

BTW: I am probably more obssessed with the YYH anime more than anyone in this club (you have no idea....)

Dude I am glad you love YuYu Hakusho too. I watched every episode about 50x and own them all. I also have manga1-10, because they are only up to 11 in America. Also I know the name of every character, and almost all of everybodies moves. I also own the action figures, and all the games, but YuYu Hakusho Forever. It is by far the best show ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that you mention the conditions of character selection, I got a bit curious regarding alternate universe characters and their original equivalents.

*Mild Spoilers Ahead!*

Take Kamille Bidan from Z Gundam for example. He got vegetated in the TV series, but managed to be unaffected by Sirroco's Mind Blast in the movies. Does that make two separate entities, or simply go with the 'representing character' as itself?

And what about reused but distinct characters such as the original Black Jack (a.k.a Hazama Kuroo) and the Black Jack Neo version? Though both represent the same character, the art and characteristics show distinct differences.

Nice

What is your favorite saga?

I have to sya that the end was the best.

The three kings saga and the Demon world TOurnie and all that kicked complete and total ass.

Too bad They never showed it on CN or AS (I think).

Also, If you were to have a spin off of the series what would it be?

I would make a spin-off about Raizen becoming a Demon King. He is such an interesting character.

Yes, I must resort to macros...lest I write a massive 15+ paragraph rant about it's superiority over everything anytime a subject like "best anime ever" comes up.

I used to do the same thing for Macross, I even wrote two articles about my hardcore Macross fanboyism.

At this rate, we might resort to copypastas when making oversized comments (a.k.a papers) about the main song "Ai Obeteimasuka?". XDDD

That is XD-worthy, my friend.

I'll have to remember to dig out my Macross DVDs tomorrow, I'm feeling nostalgic.

I just finished watching Macross Plus yesterday, which was fun because I've never seen Macross. Still, I enjoyed it anyway.

Oh Yeah. Sorry guys. I have too many fav characters. Umm...Unfortunantly, I am one of those people that is hard to relate to a specific Anime Character. But My fav is either Beet or Hiei.

Voice Acting still plays a big part in any animation, must I declare and reinforce this solid fact?

I am not sure if anyone else thinks it is odd, but the majority of my "want to watch" list consists of old works.

Examples:

Aoki Ryusei SPT Layzner
Machine Robo - Chronos no Gyakushu
Sentou Mecha Xabungle

That, and they are all series which have made a debut in the Super Robot Wars series of games at least once.

Not really, I love older series, the majority of things I'm currently watching are around a decade or older.

Good evening everyone,

I am posting to report that I will be departing to Germany for Christmas Holidays in 12 hours time. I am unsure about the internet connection there so let me wish all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, or otherwise Happy Holidays.

I will report in when I return online.

First things first, Haro, Happy Holidays to you to...

Gendo, I agree, I believe that as members, we gotta show them the old school series, the classic ones man. Because all I see is these new members putting down the watered down new stuff.

Yeah, all this new crap is weird and scary to me anyway. I've gotta rely on the old stuff to even out the jarring feeling the recent shows instill.

I just Googled that and stopped reading half-way through.

It's ridden with acronyms, poorly worded statements and horrendous paragraphing. That and the idea wasn't all that interesting anyway.

If I was a YYH hardcore, I might have had a different opinon, but since I'm not and I had a near impossible time following it, I don't.
