*SPOILER*

Anybody notice how in the series itself Edward wound up in Britain but in the movie he's in Germany?

*END SPOILER*

That is one of the things that still puzzles me today.
That does cause slight confusion, but one could easily asume he emigrated there after WWI.

I remember in the last episodes that Ed's first trip through the gate took him to London in the heart of World War I, and his second trip landed him in Munich circa 1930.

I'll do a character change again, but I'll do the old school 5 instead of the current 10, but I'll predict that you'll be bitching about that. So I'll be Ginji Matsuzaki.

1.) Full Metal Panic
2.) Blue Seed
3.) Black Lagoon
4.) Berserk
5.) I's Pure
6.) Ayashi No Ceres
7.) Ghost in the Shell
8.) Elfen Lied
9.) KGNE
10.) Z Gundam

I've just updated the list, good choice of character. The Manslayer is one awesome yakuza.

Does anyone know where I can watch a subbed Prince of Tennis episode?

Some girl (pretty hot) said she had the PRinceof Tennis uniform, and I was wondering what it looked like.

Shame I'm a guy, otherwise I would have been Two-Hands or Ms. Scarface. But anyways, I took care of that.

Actually, Trivia, it was World War II. Because one of the visions showed the detonation of an atomic bomb. The most interesting part is that he was ABLE to go back after the Ed in our world got killed off.

But if that's true, wouldn't that mean the movie ruins the continuity? The film takes place in 1931.

No, because Zeppelin's weren't used in WWII. The Atomic Bomb was mixed in with clips over other destruction showing what would become of mankind through the use of alchemy. See, when the bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki they killed thousands of people right? Since human souls on the other side of the gate are fuel for alchemy, just put two and two together.

**SPOILER**

Hey remember at the end of the FMA movie when you see that picture of Hitler on the ground? It might just be me, but that guy in the beginning that fought Ed and Al looks like him, if not a changed hair style and a mustache. I mean, if the atomic bomb made it to our world, wouldn't that mean that that guy would have made it too?

You mean Huskisson? No, I don't see a connection. He probably does have an equal in our world, but it's certainly not Hitler.

Wasn't King Bradley's parallel Fritz Lang/"Mabuse"? Since Huskisson isn't an important character, I highly doubt his parallel would be an important character.

Also, you win for the Manatee.

I aim to amuse, I see I succeeded.

***SPOILERS***

If the movie was set in 1931, and world war 1 ended in 1918, and world war 2 began in 1939, then Ed would have had to age 13 years, MINIMUM, between the end of the series and the movie. From the previews I've seen, he doesn't look one day older or one inch taller. :/
And I DISTINCTLY recall somebody named Churchill wanting to meet with Edward's father near the end of the series, and since I don't believe Churchill served in World War 1, or would have had much rank, I'm forced to assume either World War II or that they made up an entirely new war.
Besides, I'm pretty sure the Battle of Britain in which the massive bombing runs occurred was in World War II. I'm forced to conclude, in short, that they mixed the two wars to make the series more entertaining.

***END SPOILERS***

Remember, just because it LOOKS like our world, doesn't MAKE it our world.

Churchill was the First Lord of the Admirality in WWI, so he had quite the rank.

Besides, I'm pretty sure the Battle of Britain in which the massive bombing runs occurred was in World War II.

There were some serious bombing raids, but they used planes in WWII.

Most likely, it took me awhile to get off my ass and give it a try, but the mix of dark comedy, suspense and mystery makes for the best anime I've seen in the past five years. I say give it and shot and tell me what you think. I'd love to know!

Also, tonight is the first Canadian airing the last episode of Inuyasha, I'm going to watch it just so I can laugh at the horrid ending.

I dont know why I endured several years of endless filler and barely-average movies for THAT. Worst. Ending. Ever. Except for End of Evangelion, that was especcialy horiid.

I love you, EoE had a nightmarishly bad ending and Inuyasha was such a drawn-out series that it made me cry. I was forced to watch it and I now regret putting up with it for so many years...and the movies were just plotless eye-candy.

In fact, even some of my favorite animes have horrid endings. Funny thing is that the ones with the really bad ending are all created by Rumiko Takahashi, The only series she created that had a good conclusion was Maison Ikkoku (which had a very satisfying ending).

Worst: Naruto. I really need to yell at the retards who picked the voices, and the ones who did it. Shikamaru has no expression at all! Not even laziness.

DBZ (especially the first few seasons) had a very good dub, and Naruto is so hit and miss that it's not funny. Worst voices being Naruto and Itachi.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAOHHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOH OHOHOH!!!!!!

I just finished watching the last episode of Inuyasha, I laughed my ass off at the ending.
"This journey isn't over yet!" eh? I beg to differ....

Oh, the amount of stupid fanboy/fangirls around here that'll be killing themselves tonight is astronomical. Almost nobody I know who watches the series didn't know it was over and they'l be super-disappointed by the ending,

Funnier still, YTV interrupted the end credits with digital added snow and a commercial for tomorrow's Malcolm In The Middle re-run.

Now I'm just gonna watch Eureka 7 and prepare to deal with my ranting friends in the morrow.
