That sucks. On a related note, my local store has stopped stocking new manga and re-stocking older titles altogether, so that means they've got all of one book in-store I' d actually want to buy now. I saw a pretty good anime a couple of days ago. It was called Midori days and the main idea of the show is that

there is a guy that is feared in his city for how good he is at fighting. he is so feared that no girl will go out with him. He's been turned down at least 20 times and he lies down on his bed and says something similer to I'll never have a girlfriend except for my right hand. when he wakes up his right hand becomes a secret admirer of his and hilarity insues (with sexy results(I just wanted to say that only boobs are shown thats it))

I just love anime romantic comedys. Most american romantic comedys are pretty bad to me. (they just aren't crazy enough)

American film makers lack the nutty sense of humor most Japanese ones possess, that and the fact most Americn rom-coms are crappy big-budget star vehicles that make millions in the box office and get viciously mocked by critics as opposed to crazy animated series with more focus on plot than star power.

Manga was my real introduction to Japanese culture, I've been reading it for eight years. Plus, manga is easier to obtain and cheaper than anime in my town.
