i dont understand. i dont consider "huge mouths and backgrounds with lines flying past them" to be gay in any way. really. if its gay you want, check out gravitation. thats a great anime with lots of gay characters!

Hey all, I really like anime and manga but am having a hard time getting my anime fix latley cause where I downloaded them from is down permanently. So what I was wondering is do japanese dvd's work in american dvd players (that way I could just put english subs) and if not where do all of you get you anime without it being dubbed and cencored cause I think that really ruins the content.

Some Samurai stuff could be cool too.
By Gay Animations, I mean when The dude is like jumping through the air to kick someone and this is what it consists of.

I want some REAL animation, no screen by screen bullshit fighting. And preferably armies, or medieval/ancient armies fighting as well. No one guy rapes the shit out of 304348 men and doesn't even get a stratch.

I just purchase regular anime DVDs. They usually have a Japanese audio track with English subtitles and are usually not censored at all.

Did anybody check out that huge ass sale ADV had for their dvds? I mean they had a sale around christmas time and I bought assloads and got season 2 of Andromeda for free, but now they have a 75% off dvds sale. That's one nookass deal. I got the whole series of dai-guard for 5 bucks and it was in a special boxset.

whats this now? I was psyched over the Suncoast going out of business sale at 30-50% off. what am I missing out on?

I'm pretty good... I most likely not a member at the moment for lack of appearance but other than that pretty good. I just got the complete Outlaw Star box set and an pretty happy about it since it was a royal bitch to find and is my fav anime.

Highest praise I've had all week. Good to hear that someone benefited from a random rant. I've been meaning to complete my medabots collection but they don't have season 3. I also got Gunhed and Bast of Syndrome, which is actually pretty cool.

You know that I have moved on... Right? This club still has its spark. But its not my job to run it. I do what I can for this club but my commitments lie with my college studies and the fansub groups I work for (I have my own raw providing group as well).

Well, I got to thinking recently about all the Anime I've seen. Vandread, Gokudo, Slayers...there's a pretty big list. So I decided to compile a list of all the anime I've seen, whether entirely, partly through, or whatever.

Here goes. Oh, and I'm trying to list them in the order I first saw them in, and since the first ones were from back when I was in elementary school/Junior High, they're not going to be the level of sheer awesomeness that is Vandread or Slayers right off the bat.

And yes, I sat here for nearly half an hour to an hour trying to remember all of these because I KNEW I'd forget some.
