I'm ready to share my exploits of Ohayocon 6, day 2. I decided to embrace my inner neko and buy a set of cat-ears with a matching tail. This gave me an excuse for meowing in public, which is a habit I picked up by living in a house with almost half a dozen cats. I also met someone I know from high school on my way to a panel. Apparently, she recognized me as a cat on Saturday, but not as Heero Yuy on Friday.
Since there aren't any events today that justify driving over 10 miles, I can now sum up all of my acquisitions:
One "Anime Junkie" T-shirt for $17.
One Wing Gundam model/action figure for $19.
Three ecchi minifigures for around $7 each.
A $20 grab bag with a plushie, some keychains, and a Maes Hughes minifigure.
A copy of Nurse Me for $20 (my very first hentai purchase).
A copy of Gantz: Volume 2 for free. It was handed out to me at an ADV panel by Matt Greenfield, co-creator of ADV.
A "Hentai Otaku" badge for about $3.

Needles to say, I can't wait until Ohayocon 7.

As am I. So what's the name of that first song you played around 5:30? I know I've seen a "music video" for it somewhere online.

The song is called "Sakura Saku". It's the theme song to the anime series Love Hina.

Some how, and someway, I knew you were going to throw some Love Hina in there. Meanwhile, I've been hearing this rumor that Ken Akamatsu is going to re-release Love Hina in color form, I think it's just a rumor, and I would not go and buy the same manga all over again, I personally prefer black and white. Meanwhile, I went on another manga binge. I think I got about 260 mangas now. I have my own library.

Well the part of the show I'm doing is called the Love Hina Signel Special in which i play a song from Love Hina.

About that rumor. From what I've heard it's not going to be the entire series. It's going to be 1 or 2 "prequal" mangas with some of the most popular scenes from the Manga colored in. Or something like that.

I see, I would've found that out if I was home, gotta get out, even though there's snow everywhere.

Sounds interesting, I'd buy that prequel mangas, but if it's like a flip manga of the most memorable moments than I'd rather spend my money on something else. On to other news, almost every good manga series and every new one of interest won't be coming out until the 11th of April. Finally, I'll get the last book to Battle Royale.

Must be a great action figure if it's that much.

What is with these conventions and selling overpriced things.

What's with all these overpriced toys?

I guess that's not too exspensive.

Lucky bastard.

The set was $20, and as I said before, the meowing habit comes from living with a lot of cats.

Yeah, it transforms into bird mode. The instructions are printed in Japanese, but it has step-by-step pictures.

That's how dealers make their money; There are plenty of Otaku who would gladly pay an arm and a leg for even the smallest anime-related trinkets, so there is no need to offer bargain-basement prices.

Actually, I was hoping for Devil Hunter Yohko. I was also hoping to get some Robotech memorabilia autographed (had I brought any), but he had to run and I had another panel to attend.

Oh yeah, I know what that's like! I had 5 cats and one of them died this past July, so I have 4 cats in my house. They're all huge from eating too much, too.

So, do you think I'd like Gantz judging from my taste in anime? (if you remember me talking about my favs and others I like)

Well it would be a great addition to any Love Hina fan's collection anyway.

True, true. If it is a true prequel manga then I would definetely get that, otherwise I wouldn't get it. On a somewhat different matter, after looking through the Negima manga, I can instantly tell that they are not going to put in everything from that manga sadly. It really would've been nice if a coupany like Geneon or Gainex would've produced that show.

I have 2 and one growls a lot, because my sister and brother pick her up a lot. Sometimes I get the habit of growling like a cat. Anyway, Gantz seeems interesting. I may look into it sometime.

Guess I'll throw in an app. since the cheapsake ain't going to reply anytime soon:

1.) Full Metal Panic!

2.) Blue Seed

3.) Berserk

4.) Kimi ga Nozomu Eien

5.) Ayashi No Ceres

Pull me down as Sousake Sagara from FMP! and don't give no for an answer since this would make up for whoever accidently deleted my name.

I got to thinking, and realized that I've seen many more anime now than I had before I got into high school.

So far, I've completed the following Anime:

DragonBall GT (around 9th grade, I think)
DragonBall Z (Before I even got into HS)
Akira (I think even before HS)
Princess Mononoke (Again, before HS)
Spirited Away (9th or 10th)
Grave of the Fireflies (I think I saw that within this past year)
Slayers (Within past year)
Slayers Next (within past year)
Slayers Try (within past year)
Gokudo (10th grade)
El-Hazard! The Magnificient World! (within past year)
El Hazard! The Magnificient World 2! (Within past year)
El-Hazard! The Alternative World! (within past year)
Wanderers of El-Hazard (within past year)
Those Who Hunt Elves (within past year)
Those Who Hunt Elves 2 (within past year)
Vandread (I think 10th, but might be within past year.)
Vandread the Second Stage (Again, I think 10th, but maybe within past year)
FLCL (I'm pretty sure around 9th grade or earlier)
S-Cry-Ed (Within past year)
Big O (within past year)
Cowboy Bebop (Within past year)
Cowboy Bebop the Movie (10th grade, I think)
Dai-Guard (Within past year)
Vengeance of the Space Pirates (10th grade, I think)
Bastard!! (Within past year)
Paranoia Agent (Either 10th grade or within past year, can't remember off the top of my head)

If you look at those, the only ones I might have finished before HS are FLCL, Akira, Princess Mononoke, and DBZ. And I didn't even see any Slayers until this past year. I wonder how I survived. :(

Can anyone reccomend some Animes dubbed by A.D.V. films. I've seen, Slayers: premium, Saiyuki: Reload, and It think that's about it.

can i join?

1.Cowboy bebop
2.Neon Genesis Evangelion
3.Inuyasha
4.Galaxy Angel
5.Elfen Lied

I would say that my personality most matches mint (ga), but since there is a gender rule, i would say that my second match would be Dr. Norton (ostans)
