Still, after reading Negima, every volume so far and owning them, Nodoka is the embodiment of Shinobu, as much as Asuna is Naru. It could keep comparing, but I think you know where I'm going with this.

All true. But In Negima's case Nodoka has the strongerchance of getting Negi in the end. Becasue His and Asuna's relationship is more of a brother/sister type of relationship.

Day one of Ohayocon has come to a close, and I am glad that I went. I accidentally tried to check in to Ohayocon at the Hyatt Regency front desk, which involved about 10 minutes of a girl who works there running around only to find that I'm at the wrong desk. The Ohayocon registration desk had three lines, and the slowest one was the pre-reg line (the line I was in, having pre-registered in October or November for $40). A lot of pre-registered otaku got into one of the two registration lines, pretending to have forgotten their pre-reg info until they reached the front.
I was the only person cosplaying Heero Yuy at the convention. I saw two Duo Maxwells but no other Gundam Wing characters. Of course, there were a lot of Naruto fans, and plenty of Naru-tards, but there were some excellent Naruto, Sakura, Sasuske, and Kakashi costumes as well. Anothercouple of perennial favorites were Sephiroth and Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII. I'm surprised that, with so many Clouds and Sephiroths with their big-ass swords, there were no mock-battles. There was about one Tifa and one Aeris form FFVII also. By the way, out of the half-dozen Inuyashas, none of them looked much like his human or hanyou (half-demon) form. There was also a Kagome, a Kikyo, and a Shippo in a cosplay group, but no Mirokus and no Sangos (which is just as well, because if the Mirokus were fully in-character they'd get kicked out for sexual harassment).
I managed to avoid running my checking account down to $0, but just barely. I withdrew $60 from an ATM in Grove City before going to the Hyatt in Columbus, and I ran through that in about 15 minutes once I found all the vendors on the third floor. I spent so much that I had to use an ATM at the hotel to withdraw something to cover the parking. As much as I'd like to talk about that in-depth, I have a lot to do before Day 2 later this morning. I'll keep you posted if anything interesting happens.

I'd have to agree to a certain extent with you on that, although it also seems like Konoka would have a decent shot at hooking with Negi, but once again, this your basic story where no matter what happens, you know who's going to end up with who sadly. The only time something like that didn't happen was in the manga Wounded Man, I felt sorry for that guy, whever he fell in love with a woman, they'd always end up getting killed one way or another, it'd suck to be that guy.

nothing much for me to join in! A big conversation about Love Hina or Negima, or whatever.

Most of the anime I watch, I buy on DVD from many different stores, also online.

I guess that guy was like the Dirty Harry of the Manga world. (DH no matter how hard he tried his partner would would always end up being killed)

Well as of right now Konoka is more interested in Setsuna then Negi right now. But as I see it Negi has a stronger possibility to end up with Nodoka than with Asuna, at least in a GF/BF relationship. Although Asuna is the main female character she acts more like an older sister than a GF. Nodoka meanwhile is. And I can't get rid of the nagging feeling that Negi and Asuna are related somehow.

*SPOILER!*
Negi and Nodoka's relationship takes a BIG turn for the better in volume 10! Just you wait and see.
*END OF SPOILER!*

and the main character is gonna end up with the wrong girl (again).
plus im not sure I like the sound os a 10 year old getting more action that me.

LOL Well it's not like He's the one looking for a GF. It's the girls who are after him!

That's right, I'm going to be on the radio tomrrow (Sunday) and all you guys can hear me! I'll be on an OLNINE Radio station. This station is an online Anime Radio Station!

Hear Me!

Sometime between 5 and 6 pm EST you guys will hear me (hopefully). I will be introducing a new segment called "The Love Hina Single Special!" to an exsisting show called the "JR_Horse Side Project." I'll be under the nick name "The_Requester."

The single segment will be played every other week so I hope you all will tune in and hear me!

You guys can tune in with either WMP, Winamp, or registered versions of Realplayer. Just click on the website link above and then click on the "Listen" tab bar up top. Then just choose you're speed and player.

PLEASE TUNE IN! TY

Wow...I'm speechless. I didn't see that coming. I got to get a credit card one of these days so I can buy things when they come out instead of waiting. Much thanks for that, now I have to buy Negima 9 and 10. Go Nodoka go!

Outlaw Star perfect collection, the first 9 episodes of Bubblegum Crisis, Dead Leaves, and Memories.
I also got the first Berserk manga.

Some non Japan related things I got were

DVD: Unleashed (unrated) and 28 Days Later.
Xbox: Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.
PS2: Soul Calibur 3.

And today, I finally got my last Christmas presents when I went to see my dad and grandparents. I got Socom 2, Jak 2, and Killzone for PS2, one of those statues of a chinese man with a fishing pole (only my dad actually got this one from a store in china) a braded bracelet of these nice little black stones (probably cost a couple hundred yuan since my dad looked concerned and was like "you better not lose that!") a cd of some chinese pop my dad burned, and a dress shirt for formal occasions.

You should get some DVDs, man. There's a lot more out there than what's shown on television.

That is why the only Anime I own are the ones that show up at Pawn America's, or video game stores. In fact, most of the animes I own are on VHS because they are a lot cheaper that way. We all got preferences, right? Money...really draws the line for me, even though I just bought $140 in manga today.

Has anyone else here seen Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children?

If you have not seen It, It is an awesome recomendation.
It's like watching "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" on Speed. And LOTS of it!
But you really have to have played the game to understand the story.
