That means you only had 4-9 points for having 4-9 things removed from the site that you flagged. We're not going to unfix it because you want a reward for doing very little, while other users have thousands of points and didn't even have Gold.
Also the review mods can now remove abusive reviews, so they will be removing them on a daily basis, meaning users will get points more frequently.
Also I just cleared the portal whistle list, like 2,500 Flash entries were blammed, so whoever whistled them got points.

Ok, back to marking reviews and portal submissions. Anyway, I think there's few feedback when flagging flashes. I have seen a bunch of highly suspicious flashes passing, getting frontpage, daily awards... I used to flag them with a reason, and I guess I got nothing but negative points , so I stopped. But I guess I deserve nothing but a bronze, even though I used to be accurate when flagging flash.
Well the new system seems fair, and whistle levels have never really bothered me much anyway, I thought it was a bit easy to get up to silver.
damn, I had a normal whistle level and now I have a normal whistle level. I should really try working on my whistle level. Do you only get points for flagging flash that has broken the rules or can you get it for marking abusive reviews too?

It's probably the easiest way too, because there are so many abusive reviews all over the place. Check out Rage's gift to you: Abusive reviews for links to various abusive reviews.

Those who want to get a better whistle should be able to acheive this pretty quick if you work at it. There's a topic that helps find abusive reviews, or if everyone would check through the reviews for new submissions on the portal top 50 list, and flag the abusive ones, that would help. If everyone makes a habit of that, the abusive reviews would get enough flags for us to see them and remove them.

I think the main reason so many people lost their Silver whistle is because they didn't bother to earn any more points once they reached it. They knew that Gold and Diety were the "impossible" whistles, so they didn't see a point in continuing. It's kind of the same rule with some level 9 users who've stopped depositing, knowing that the gap to level 10 is pretty big.
If this happens to be you, you shouldn't be mad of Wade. Be mad at yourself for stopping so early. However, be happy that you can just as easily get back up to your old whistle.
