I had a thought (might have been mentioned a while back) but perhaps add a bar or something that shows how close you are to your next whistle level? Would encourage more people to blow the whistle as they know how much they need for a new one, rather than just randomly guessing.
However it might also encourage random whistle blowing on submissions and reviews that don't need it.

I was demoted to Bronze when this happened, but then I went to go mark around 10-15 reviews, and I had my Silver Whistle back the next day.
What am I missing here? When I had it before, I flagged about 300-500 reviews, and when I got Silver, I stopped. Now that this happened, I flagged a few more, got it back, etc...
Was I only a few points away from the whistle before?

it has been replaced with this new one. personally I think it is too easy for people to get deity now but it was put into place so abuse can be removed faster not for a harder whistle level and it is working well.

A lot of people were wishing something like this would happen as well so they could laugh at me and say that I am no longer special or unique as well. also I am not the best Newground's user either there are people who are better then me on this site. I just have (or had) the most whistle points that is all.

Simple you don't only the NG staff can do that since that information isn't public and if it did become public it would cause a lot of problems.

It really wouldn't, because remember, you get negative whistle points for flagging incorrectly, so that wouldn't really be an issue.
Anyway, the idea is good, Wade and Tom should go for it.
