Swimming

I don't swim much, but today my girlfriend and I are going to a lake together. It's warm and been years since I've swam. Swimmings good execise and can be real fun. I'm lazy and perfer hot-tubes over swimmin' pools. Which is real funny considerin' most of the poeple in my parts like chilling in the fraser river for hours.
I'll bring my cell and snap some pics. A wet mullets like a wet dog. It's gross, but ya love it.

Injecting community back in

I've been motivated to start working with more and more new people.... I was playing Red Baron and i liked how organic it is and i remember when MC had people make enemy sprites in his forum (one of em mine) and they were plopped in the game. Anyway I'd like to brainstorm with one of your actionscripters to see if i can make it a semi community project... what i mean by semi is that we could have people make simple spritesets. RB is a difficult genre to make spritesets for and i remember Muffins having trouble and having to go back to people to fix their shit. i want to do a totally different genre something that minimizes that back and forth..

so at this point im only lookin for an actionscript person to bounce ideas... ill make a thread when we've figured it out.

EXACTLY thats the particular genre i was thinkin.. just wanted an actionscripters perspective as it being easy to plug a ton of things in

I actually thought about it Luis, but it might be easier if it was coordinated by an ASer...or if you talked to him first. I mean, it's torture going through peoples movieclips, changing them around...especially simple things, like their center point, scales, frame names, etc. I'd say find a coder and then just have him decide every single spec. Also, you should make yours first and have him plug it in, and then base it off that, just in case he has problems with specific things he might not know about.

Well i intended to discuss it with said actionscripter first and atleast create a template before i opended it up to everyone else. I'd like to stray from ng characters at this point... its possible but for now i think itd open up the gammut if it were just make sprites.

Anyway itll be kind of silly like this game... where it doesnt make much sense at all but its just entertaining.. kind of like Space Bomber All Clear (the bossses are insannnne

Now, I know that the browser plugin is slower, but does this scenario happen to anyone else?

I'm testing an application, and in the standalone i get a steady 125fps, and when testing in browser it will always happen that for the first maybe 4-5 seconds it will run at that speed, THEN it suddenly drops to around 60fps. Now, it also does the same if i set it to 60fps, for first few seconds itll run at 60fps, then itll suddenly drop to about 30

It's actually Tuba and Piano, the Marimba thing was a special 1 time instance (it's the same as a piano)
