Binary is a system of numbers by 0s and 1s, which is what computers are based on, so:
0 = 1
1 = 2
10 = 3
11 = 4
100 = 5
101 = 6
110 = 7
111...

It counts the same was a normal numbers (decimal) but there's only 2 numbers (hence binary).

When learning binary, I found it helped to write decimal above it:

D: 8 4 2 1 8 4 2 1 8 4 2 1 B: 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 0 1 1 0

So, 1000 is 8 in binary and 0110 is 6.

So as I was laying in bed for the last three hours going slightly batshit while trying to fall asleep, I kinda had a laugh about the validity of reviews on Newgrounds. I know that no one's being paid to write them or anything, but imagine you went to a site like IGN to read a Grand Theft Auto IV review and you saw something like "DIDN'T LOAD >: ( ZERO OUT OF FIVE BLAM THIS SHIT". I don't really know where I'm going with that, I think I've just lost my mind to lack of sleep, and I'm making forty-five typos every time I touch the keyboard. Work's gonna be fun today.

I'm also currently being the world's slowest programmer for Moose and someone who was on the forums a while back asking for help with an MMO, and the worlds slowest artist for Kirk, dELta and yet another forum randomite asking for a hand.

This is partly because I need a copy of Swift3D for the 3D spaceships, motorcycles and giant robots, partly because I'm lazy, partly because I'm trying to learn AS3, partly because work drains my creative soul, partly because I have 100 skeleton miniatures left to paint, and partly because I'm on the last mission of GTA4.

That looks interesting, picking the right color combination is a pretty tricky part of creating art me thinks. Also I see that your using the Reanimator Camera, I've been having some problems with the RC so if anyone could answer my question I'd be really thankful. Whenever I use the camera in an animation it starts working on the second frame of a scene, so the first frame would be the normal view without a camera, and the second frame the camera 'kicks' in, it's incredibly irritating and I haven't found a solution for that problem so far.

I honestly think that popular reviews outside of Newgrounds are terrible too. Metacritic is a good way to see this. I was reading the review of The Matrix from the San Francisco Chronicle, who said "It's astonishing that so much money, talent, technical expertise and visual imagination can be put in the service of something so stupid." Then when the second movie came out, they said, "Turns out the first 'Matrix' was the One, but the second is still loads of fun."

Funny how they swing their opinion in light of their difference in scores: a 25 for the Matrix and a 75 for the Matrix Reloaded. We obviously know that is not how the cookie crumbled for that series.

I actually just watched this the other day too. I thought it was alright. Was looking for a movie to watch while I ate food in front of my computer for a day or so, and it did the trick, I wouldn't go to the theater to see it though.

I haven't experienced that problem yet. I don't know ANYTHING about how the coding works behind the cam to my only suggestion would be to fade in your scenes. That way, even if it jumps, you won't be able to tell because the background will be all white or black already. I think most opening shots if not all should be faded in anyways, just because it gives the viewer a second to focus on the scene, and the layout of the background, before things start moving around and the story picks up. Just a suggestion.

Your screenshots are looking pretty slick though.

Ya remember the days when all the movies were done on flip books, and to get them you would send a self addressed envelope to Tom, and he would take to the copy machine and send you back your flip book? There was some neat stuff floating around the 'portal' then.

And if you sent him a flip book, he would send it out to users who requested it and stuff.

Ya, fun times. The games kinda sucked though.
