However, i could really do with a few new tshirts (i'm also one of these t-shirt and jeans guys) so does anyone know of a good website offering t-shirts at decent prices (prefarbly in the UK (shipping rates kill)) that accepts PayPal.
Cheers :)
Ill design you a couple if you want? Just give me a pm with a theme or somethign specific and ill give give it a go, with my new tablet it will be sechs :) pwomise :3

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahaa
COOL indeed bro, I couldn't agree more. Fuck MD5 hashes.

Take up the definition of one-way encryption with the nice souls at Wiki...
Considering I have no cyptographic background, I think I did a good job of explaining that function
...
Using MD5 to create a unique file name is a bit silly, I mean the result is a bit long so it's a bit of a waste of file space. Why not just use something simple like.. (off top of my head):
function hexHash(orig:String):String {
var endString:String = "";
for (var a = 0; a<(orig.length>5 ? 5 : orig.length); a++) {
endString += (orig.charCodeAt(a)+random(32)).toString(16);
}
endString += String(random(255));
return endString+"_swf";
}
trace(hexHash("StalingradV2"));
Uh, yeah.. might work. But, I mean, it's simple to create something to work.. and it's practically fool proof, too.
Sup, bitches :)

i didnt say you did a poor job of explaining. im just saying that you shouldnt mix terminology. and shame on wikipedia for getting it wrong as well. encryption has connotations that do not correspond to hash functions.

Agree, I dont understand any word in their conversation that isn't 'to' 'and' 'or' [etc]
Soooooo, shirts, yeah, they're cool.
I guess you should have all kinds of colors for all kinds of situations, yeah, even pink, maybe one day you'll wake up feeling like wearing pink :P tho a please-look-at-me-pink may be too extreme, or maybe you feel cool and rocker and feel like wearing black, or i don't know, but you should try all kinds of colors :P
Here's some info on color psychology in gerenal, i had a book were it said when each color was better to wear, like using black for elegant stuff or red if you wanted to stand out, but i can't find it so....

T-shirts
I love T-shirts, basically Jeans/Khakis (or whatever kind of pants) and a t-shirt are all I wear (If I feel like getting crazy I might put a long white sleeve t-shirt on underneath). I mostly get my stuff online and I my favorite stuff usually gets posted about on this French T-shirt blog or I can usually find it at Boundless NY or outta TurnTable Lab 04.
Does anyone have a favorite T-shirt they like to wear? I ordered this one from the UK and I think it's a pretty limited print, maybe like 40 or something in Purple. It's a shame because it's getting too small and it's really really comfortable:
always behind schedule.

Pixel Pico
Was working with that cool Pixel 2.0 Packet that rtil posted up after making "Move Your Feet". I wanted to try and make something for Pico Day and since I suck at art, I thought why not start early. Anyways, this is what I was able to achieve using it. I present: Pixel Pico.

T-Shirts
I have never worn a more comfortable shirt than a plain American Apparel 50/50. Sooo soft and it fits so well. Other than that, I like large print tees from sites like DesignByHumans and 80's Purple. Another cool site i've been following for a little while now is Uneetee. They used to print new shirts everyday but now it's like once a week. Still cool and VERY cheap AND it's on American Apparel shirts which is always a plus.
I've been itching to start printing my own shirts again. Maybe I'll start a line of shirts with some other people for this summer...

Just wanted everyone to know that the privacy issue on ngup are fixed.
"UPDATE: Because the privacy of your files is so important to us (and you guys keep PMing me) files are now viewed based on file name not file id. So now, no one can enter a random number and see a file that may have been private. You welcome.
Also, dont worry. The old links will still work."
Pico Day is approaching again already? Fuck, I'm getting old.

Nobody's going for a prize for computer terminology here - encryption can just mean making something unintelligible to someone who doesn't know how to reverse it. By the normal, everyday English language use of the term, Kayn's in the clear.

Why even go to all that trouble? Just slap a random number at the start of your file name:
function randomise(orig:String):void{
return(String(Math.floor(Math.random() * 10000)) + "_" + orig);
}
Since we're just dealing with kids who probably won't want to go through 10000 possible file names to nosey on peoples' stuff, that should be ample.
If you want real protection, your best bet is to avoid free upload sites entirely.

It'd bound to get the same name once. You should use time instead. Then you'll always get a unique id that noone can guess.
time() . $filename

OK, you win :P Although time plus a few random digits would probably give you the best of both worlds - like 080503853 for something uploaded today, with the last three digits just random.

But then you have the same problem, because then if a thousand files are uploaded, two will share the same name. This is why I suggested Date + MD5

Only if a thousand files are uploaded, all with exactly the same name (the file name would be added after the id number - 325235252_blah.swf), on the same day, and you can always add extra characters for time so they'd have to be uploaded in the same minute.

time() in php gets the date in seconds so unless 1000 people upload with the exact same filename at the exact same second there'll be no problem. :)

My friends song was spun by Kissy Sell Out on their recent BBC Radio One mix. So awesome! He's tune comes in around at 14 minutes. It's a Saftey Dance remix.

Preloader Games Break US Copyright
http://kotaku.com/364141/should-video-ga me-patents-be-legal
Apparently way back when, Namco laid down the patent for "minigames that play while the game is loading" and got it passed. So if you plan on using one, you better contact Namco to get permission to do so... it is in their patent rights.
Hi there!
At 3/5/08 02:05 PM, jmtb02 wrote: Preloader Games Break US Copyright
That's probably one of the most ridiculous arguments out there. What makes it wrong creating a minigame as the game itself loads. I honestly think that's kinda exclusive to only Namco. Why in the world will it be illegal? Okay it may be similar to RidgeRacer or whatever, but still -- I don't quite believe they created the whole idea. That's like saying the person that invented the computer can sue all the other computer manufactures since he created the first one, and so forth.
It's an edgy situation, but probably one of the most ridiculous ones as well.
