I go outside all the time! Skating, Snowboarding, Sleading, Just going out with friends and shit, i really like flash but its not the only thing i do :3

i go outside a fair bit, no loads though. Im at uni in bournemouth so we have a beach, which I go down to quite a bit. And I walk to uni every day, go into town quite a bit and stuff.

And i have plenty of friends too. Uni is amazing for making friends, as everyone there is literally on thier own, so you make em quickly :) And im a fairly social person anyway so i get on well with people as long as they are sound to me!

If I'm outside now, it's to build a huge fort with my friends and throw snowballs at cars...or shovel/snowplow. But other than that, it's way too cold to be doing anything else outside right now. I had to use an axe to chop up this mountainous pile the shitty snow plow pushed to bottom of our driveway yesterday because it froze over...only about a month more til the snows all gone.

I only ask about people going outside because I get these massive headaches every once in a while when I am spending too much time on the computer. Usually its when I use a computer for more than 10 hours a day for multiple days in a row, but I partially lose vision because I see black spots in front of my eyes... I know not to touch a computer for several days and just enjoy the outside for a while :).

I definitely hear you on that one. I've been staring at my screen huddled up in the dark for hours and I just see black when I finally go to try and fall asleep. I'll be taking a day or two off just so I can get that out of my system I guess, but it's too bad I can't go outside like you said...too cold.

Smoking it Up

As strange as this may sounds, and it seriously shouldn't work this way, but when I drink or smoke up I honeslty focus better. I usually have some 400 ideas flying in my head at once, and I find it really fucking hard to isolate and work out one of those ideas normally. Generally I just get a really bad ache and shit. However a little weed (which I really rarely smoke) or some booze (which I really often drink) really lets me just work on one good idea.

I also remember reading an article in MacCleans that supported this. That people who are really visual thinkers often think too fast for their own good or something and get wrapped up in too many things at once, and marijuana and alcohol can actually calm them down. My art teacher in high school was a pothead and she was badass and drew great shit.

So to me it seems like there could be a correlation. Who knows though.

I've smoked pot before as well, a fair few times, but have never actually programmed stoned. Would be cool to give it a try sometime.

The most I've ever done was some Maths homework while smashed at about three in the morning after getting back from a party :P All the answers seemed to be right, but I had a fair few doodles doted around it and addressed my teacher as "The Sharpe Man!!!!!!!!".

I've done a fair bit of Lit homework while way over the safe caffeine limit. Weirdly, it seems to be the stuff I feel like I've completely failed but get full marks on :s I should try it while stoned some time :P

winter is gay summer rules...there were only 2 times that it snowed were i live in the 20 somthing years it exists maybe it would snow today i hope so...

Keeping Focused

Obviously I'm failing hard right now but I just wanted to post this up. What kinds of things do you do to keep focus. At the moment I'm just sitting in my room alone with my pc and flash opened on my three projects so I can switch back and forth and keep creativity flowing. Also, I've got iTunes opened and I'm listening to some classical music. At the moment the list isn't that diverse but I have mozart (of course!! moonlight sonata is the shit!!!), Beethoven, Vivaldi, Chopin, and Tchaikovski.

The music is very relaxing and cleansing and really helps me stay focused. Except of course when i break the rhythm to use the bathroom or someone comes into my room, etc. Anyways, discuss.

Recently, I've been on a bit of a kick, like at least two cups a night. I found this really sexy blend called "Dragon Spirit Tea" from a company called "The Republic of Tea", and there is a little chain shop in a mall near me called "Teavanna" that has another amazing blend that's at my mom's house.

Anyways, I was curious to see if anyone preferred flavour and taste over bitter, dark, caffinated anal leakage. Unless it's expresso, because expresso is amazing.

p.s. Starbucks does not count as real coffee.
