Maybe you can have, like, 'fork' enemies as well which try to short circuit you (or whatever it's called)? ;)

Are you limited by how far you move by the wire that's plugging you in?
That'd be cool... being able to use your power cord to pull yourself back to the start, up cliffs and such...

No friends :)
Thanks, jmtb02 for the booklink. Must get.
I also really want to read more of the old, old comic strip 'The Upside-Downs of Little Lady Lovekins and Old Man Muffaroo' (might be called something slightly different). Gustave Verbeck did a similar thing for years with a newspaper strip early last century. I can only imagine the amount of work that'd go into that...

On Kotaku, someone brought up the 300-game project and The_exp stated it was an independent thought. He says he contacted the guy and it's all cool.
Anyway, opinions... I liked the game. I don't consider it at all similar to Portal, beyond the narration, which is just a cool homage.
The mechanics are fun to play with, but I always kinda felt like the route was fairly obvious - there aren't really puzzles like in Portal, with momentum and whatnot. I didn't like the fact that at least one level lets you get stuck and there's no level restart button.
I'd say it's the 3rd best flash game that's been on NG in the past 6 months. (counting cursor*10) Interested to see what he does for the sequel.

Im back, somewhat
Been stalking the forums, not really logging in. Theres nothing that exciting going on around here lately and I'm jaded from modding. So I'm doing alot less of it.
On the otherhand I am somewhat excited about a new breed of flash talent breaking into the scene. People always moan and groan over people leaving, when in reality it just means that the limelight has been freed up by those that are leaving (if indeed they are leaving, which we know you arent.)
Im well now, so patu1 my offer of modship is now revoked.
Penis.
None
Good movies i've seen lately
-I saw an amazing movie today, its called "eagle vs shark" and to my suprise it was amazing, it stars Jermain from flight of tha conchords, and its kind of like napoleian dynomite, but good and with a plotline, it even had a really beautifully animated stop motion scene that is a running theme throughout the movie, anywasy, yall should check it out.
-I also saw a new movie called "CHOKE" yes, its based off of the chuck palaniuk novel (he wrote fight club) this movie was absolutly immaculate, it payed homage to the book perfictly, exactly how i envisioned it.
-A recent animated movie came out called "Persopolis" based off of the graphic novel, all i have to say is see it, i'm sure all of you would love it, i'm talking top 10 movies of all time.
-and finally, no country for old men, if you havent seen it and like a good ass movie, just go see it, it was so beauifuly directed, and acted, and shot, and is also, one of the top ten movies of all time
p.s. sorry for the grammer if its bad, i dont feel like reading what i just typed.
p.p.s. anyone have and good movie suggestions?

Wow, that is a great find Bezman.
So my aquarium finally has it's first resident, and it's gone two days without dying.
Hi there!

I thought it was a great movie, despite it all took place in one room. Anyone else catch this flick?
never heard of it, i'll check it out, speaking of one scene movies, anyone seen "Melvin goes to dinner"? good one.

I found Nemo. LAWL.
Inspiration?
I desperately want to finish a flash game. Any revolutionary, unique gameplay mechanics lying around? Eh? EH?
i have an idea i've been trying to get a scripter for, i'll do graphics, PM me :)

...They made Choke into a movie?? Holy hell. I heard they were in talks about Survivor or possibly "Invisible Monsters" But didn't know they made Choke into a movie..
I must see it, asap.
I think some of Palahniuk's stuff is just too weird for movies. Fight Club had enough general appeal to develop a cult following but some of it doesn't seem capable of the same.

I personally think out of all of the other books, "The Diary" would work best. =)

Haven't read that one, actually. I should note that I'm not saying I'm against any of his books being turned into movies, I'm just speaking from a financial point of view, which is unfortunately how movies go.
Invisible Monsters
I was hyped about the possibility of it being a movie, until I read Jessica Biel is in talks. I can't say who she'll play because it would be spoilers!!?!? Oh Chuck you make even a synopsis impossible.
Man From Earth
I saw it too, and boy was it good! I mean really good. I was so involved in it. it was also nice to see Tony Todd not kill someone, haha.
I saw No Country for Old Men last night... OMG was it awesome!
Las movie I saw in the cinema was I Am Legend. The ending was a bit of a let down and too many plot events go unexplained :( Other than that it had just the right balance of peaceful, thoughtful scenes and zombie action scenes.
...
In terms of movies, I intend to watch Donnie Darko sometime and hopefully understand it ^^
But seriously, the bunny is weird, this youtube says it all: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YrLgf4ZotF E&feature=related

I had an Idea a while back, but it was a very basic concept and I'm not a very good programmer.
PM me and we'll discuss.
