Hey guys, I could use some help. I'm making a game, the concept of which I'd like to keep under wraps a bit for now. Anyways, it takes place in a city and its top down perspective. It's like, nearly direct top down. Anyways, the whole thing I need help with is basically the city is going to be randomly generated, and I'm trying to think of features that are easily recognizable from top down. i.e overturned garbage cans, cars, fluttering newspapers, etc. I'm just looking for any ideas on elements that could be recognizable from above.
Trees, bushes, houses, stoplights, telephone poles, people, cars, corn fields, sun umbrellas/outdoor cafe with tables & chairs, sports arenas (football, baseball, etc), kids playground equipment, parking lots, large fountains of water, water towers, man-holes, cones, sewer grates, park benches, rivers, swimming pools, varying sidewalk patterns, phone booths, crates, fences, stains, hot-dog stands, ice-cream stands, verandas, for a start
