Fears
I don't really have much fears, but when I watch a horror movie before sleeping I think of it a lot when trying to get to sleep, and that kind of keeps me up a bit, especially sleeping in the basement of my house, which I think may be haunted, I usually hear noises in the basement, But I am never sure what is making the noise, but I have survived sleeping down there for about half a year now so I should be good haha.

I think as far as the mainstream PC companies out there, Dell's not that bad. My main rig is a Dell.

The 'unsuspecting adults who know shat about computers' don't really need to have a great graphics card because they don't play games. So they get what they want.
If you want a gaming machine, go custom and build it from the ground up, not only will it run better, it'll be a lot cheaper.

The point I'm trying to make is that Dell overprices it's shit 200-400 dollars.

I actually looked up all the components, all together it would of cost 550 bucks roughly.

My parents paid 800 dollars for it. This was before I was computer savvy and now I'm just gonna build all the family computers. But for now, Geforce 6200 it is >.>.

I most likely just built a computer comporable to yours for about 75 bucks using spare parts and craigslist. Tbh, if you use slick deals and craigslist you can probably build a computer that'll last you a couple years just off of 300 bucks.

So, I'm really gonna love it if I can an extra 800 bucks on my tax return. I wouldn't mind getting almost 1500 dollars in february :-D I'm definetly gonna buy a shitload of things.

At the moment i'm looking at two main candidates: a cell phone and a console.

I'm moving out soon so i'll have to figure out how to replace my brother's xbox 360 but i still want to get either a Wii or a PS3. As for the phone I want to get something chunky, I'm tired of the tiny ass razr. I want a phone similar to the T-Mobile Wing: touch screen, qwerty keyboard, fast internet connection, and most importantly a really good speaker/mouth piece so I can have awesome phone se-- conversations.

Any input?

No shit, as does every computer sales company. Thats why if you ask anyone with half a brain, they'll tell you to build your computer up from scratch if you're on a budget and want something decent.

I'm not sure what i'm gonna do yet. Like, XBL is the best online system for any console. but i really like where PS3 is heading. The whole Home thing looks sick. And the Wii doesn't really have anything going for it that I would like. I'm thinking I might just get the most updated PS3 so i can play ps2 games on it etc, and maybe have a reason to use my PSP hahaha. What d'you think of the wii? What games are there for it that us halo fans like?

K. One really really really big issue with what you are saying, is the PS3 backwards compatibility part. The newest version of the PS3 is the 80 gig, which plays 0 ps2 games. 0%. Zip. Nadda. Zerooooo. The second oldest, the 40 gig plays around 73% of the PS2 games out there. And ive seen nothing from home that looks interesting, but then again i skip alot of articles about it. Maybe i missed something....

And Wii for halo fans...not a whole lot. Im worried about the Wii right now. Turning out just like the cube. Had some classics. Metroid Prime. Smash bros. Mario Cart. But right now, its looking like the Wii is taking the exact same road, litterally. The only good games right now are Metroid prime 3 (best bet for halo fans i guess), Mario galaxy, and the upcomming mario cart and Smach bros brawl. Besides that, i see nothing of interest. Im worried, i'll just say that much.

So again, i'd go with 360, with all its exclusives and such, Wii if your interested, if not, leave it.

I efed up. switch 40 and 80. The newest model is the 40. : P

What I think i'm gonna end up doing is getting the elite and a halo joystick and the halo head set and leave it at that. I don't think any of the other consoles are in a position yet to oust the 360 in my books.

I go back to school tomorrow after a five week long winter break. I'm looking real forward to it, but at the same time it's been wonderful sitting around home with old friends and doing a lot of nothing. It's hard having two homes and two places I am so used. I wasn't really expecting this with school...like being at home, I love it. But then when I'm at school I can't imagine going home. It's the "switching" between the two that is the most difficult I think.

I feel lucky. I have a good home-life and I'm loving school.

These are my thoughts.

Fo rizzle? That's an insanely bad idea :( The only reason I got a PS2 instead of a different console was so I could still play all my PSX classics. I was condidering getting a PS3 when the price became less crippling, but now I'm leaning towards a Wii. If anything :S
