My most important achievement so far is a nomination for Best Architectural Design Of The Year in university for a redesign of an old tradebuilding.

Unfortunately I didn't won, but it looks nice on my resume anyway.

Besides that, some tennis trophies.. I used to play a lot of tennis and was pretty good at it. But once i started clubbing every week i noticed it was hard to keep on practicing in the weekends with a heavy hangover.
I have yet to win an award for my animations hopefully some day

Little things

I'm in a particularly shitty mood in the morning i hate running into perky white people... pretty much from the time i wake up till about 10am-ish i do not want to communicate with other human beings especially ones that are having the best morning of their life.

other things that annoy me are people who talk to you while they are in the urinal next to you... cmon theres nothing remotely pressing that needs to be said while another man is holding his cock and relieving himself.

I'm pissed at these motherfucking tree branches on my motherfucking blazer!
I wake up this morning to let my cute puppy outside to pee, look in the frontyard and BAM! Motherfucking tree has shit all over the fucking blazer. Not only that but theirs 2 branches on the roof of the house and one on a powerline...
First a drunk crashes into my backyard fence and now a tree shits all over me. Fate ya just have to fuck with my a little more this year don'tcha?
I gotta call the electric company to check out the powerline, call and wake up friends to help me move the branches without scratching the care, and a bunch of other crap... I'm so taking a snow day today...

Achievements:

This is so embarrassing, but when I was a senior in high-school I went out for wrestling and made the J.V. team! (that's the sucky team usually for just freshmen and sophomores) So, at the league tournament there was only one other guy (some wimpy freshman) in my weight division (189 lbs.) that I barely defeated in a struggle to the death and I was then Junior Varsity league champ! I have a little medal to prove it. :(

That's kind of an anti-achievement though...

P.S. Criminalduder, was there a hurricane or something next to your trailer park?

Gamespot Meltdown
I don't know if you guys are following the gaming news, but the shit has really hit the fan for Gamespot last week.

The short version of the story is that their lead editor was fired for giving a bad review to the game "Kane and Lynch", which they were advertising like crazy on their site (full page wrap around ads). The lead editor was working at Gamespot for nearly 10 years, and was fired abruptly due to it. He stood by his review, but now things have gotten really crazy. This definitely has something to say about content vs. making advertisers happy.

Outside acheivements
Every year my generic small English town has a "flower show" and they encourage all the kids from the local schools to draw pictures of flowers, with the winner's one being printed on the front cover of the show programme. I won 1st place, and with it, *gasp* a tray of soil and seeds.
I also once entered one of those "competitions" in those little kids magazines when I was about 8 where they have a really easy question. I won a load of toothbrushes shaped like animals.... I still have them. Pic below. You can clearly see the dinosaur was my favorite :D
Also I have several gold and silver awards from the UK Maths Challenge.
Hooray for me.

I tried using notepad once, but it's not every helpful if you want to be able to click on a button and have tables, pictures, links etc inserted for you. I don't know much HTML.

Woah tahts crazy! Shows little you can trust reviews from these big companys too... Theyll give you whatever score you want if you shove enough cash under there noses, what a let down. Kinda left a bad taste in my mouth for Eidos too...

No doubt the game will still sell great ;/

Gamespot Drama

Mindchamber had made a post about it a few days ago and thats how i got into the loop. Has anyone played the game? It reminds of Diakatana which was also a hugely hyped game that went tits up. The twist in this one with the heavy advertising is an interesting one. I am interested to see how it all pans out for Gamespot. I heard over 2000 people have already canceled their subscriptions. If this ends up really hurting them in the pockets i cant imagine they would continue to hope it blows over. Right now it seems they are staying quiet and hope that Jeff goes quietly but the power of the internet is proving otherwise.

Its particularly disappointing because i like the hitman series, and freedom fighters was also good, i dunno how they could have bombed on Kane and Lynch.

I was voted most talented by that stupid superlatives crap. I had long hair at the time, ill see if i can find that yearbook picture so you all can make fun of me.

Outside achievements
For the past four years I've won my City art competition, and i got a gold Key nationally on one of my art pieces for scholastic. ( it is this huge art competition, and a gold key is like the best award you can recive) and within my state i got a gold key for my animation called "stack". I also just got a 24,000 dollar scholarship to go to college next year. so I'm stoked about that. other than that ive just like won school art comps.

Nah, their was just a short snow storm thing. I got someone coming over soon to turn off all the power so they can fix the down powerline.

Uh, I don't really know how to explain it, but at least in my highschool the superlatives were a big vote type thing that the entire senior class would choose who they though had the nicest car, the best smile, most likely to succeed....those types of things.

I won most artistic my senior year of high school. It came as a surprise and I was very happy to be recognized by the senior class. It was awesome.

Its like a popularity contest.. just like prom king and all that shit.. the only reason i was voted most talented is because i did everyones art projects. I was driving home today and I was thinking how cool it would be to take a road trip from washington dc to san diego for the comic con next year. Maybe pick a few people up along the way in a minivan.

Me and my friend Calvin had to drive 5 hours to DC and and 5 hours back because our dipshit friend got caught stealing form the Smithsonian Museum's gift shop. They arrested him and he needed to be bailed out, so we took the drive. He gave us each 500 bucks for doing it though.

Pretty cool idea thar Luis. I had a similar idea, where someone just gets a big van and drives around to visit different Regs and maybe even pick them up. It could be just an area of the US and not the whole country.
