[Questionable pickup line removed for your own good. But it involved dragons breathing fire and that photo]

NSFW, But it's way awesome. Just a warning, nothing nasty of freaky, but perhaps not in front of the boss.
Whilst that's worryingly cool and must have been outragiously painful, it fails when you think about what it means. We all know dragons can't fly backwards, so the illusion of it's coolness is dispelled instantly when you think too hard about it. And when you consider what that thing's going to look like and what it's going to do to that area of his body when the ink fades...
Standardisation. Bitches

Anyway who's up for METRIC TIME!
We'll go by the unit of the DAY.
The current system we have is based on a Base 120 system. It was built to work alongside the Chinese base 12 and the European base 10 system by the Mesopotamians. Because back then we had ten months (before Julius added two) and the Chinese worked on a complicated cycle. So they made a compromise and a more accurate system.
But dude, we already have an SI unit for time. It's called the second... There's roughly 32.9 Megaseconds a year
I like how it's JUST the US and the UK over the ENTIRE WORLD that don't conform though. Makes us spechul. In fact, the EU went out and said a month or so back that "You know what? Fine. Don't standardise with us. Drive on the left, keep using miles instead of kilometers and pints instead of half-litres. We don't care". This is possibly due to the fact the sitting government hasn't gotten around to asking the for the answer to "Do you want to increase trade with our European neighbours by standardising?". Any news on when that refferendum is happening?

At least its better than everyone thinking we live in castles...
You mean you DON'T live in a castle!? Next you'll be telling me you don't drink tea!
I however, do drink tea. And of course, I don't live in a castle. I live in a Victorian Sweatshop just like all the other orphaned boys. Shine ya shoes guv'na?
