I dunno, in the Simpsons Movie it looked a bit out of place. That's probably because of that bullshit trailer they made along the lines of 'OMG WE USE 2D WHILE EVERYONE ELSE MAKES ANIMATION WITH COMPUTERS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL', as if keeping in the outlines cancels out the fact that it was done with a computer.

Still, at least it was better than the latest TV episodes.

Peeing in other objects rather than the toilet

I've been peeing in my girl's mouth for 2 years now, and I'm lovin' it. Fuck no. That's retarded. I pissed in the shower a couple times, but haven't recently. I don't shower much since my shower is like busted, I just chill in the tub for a bit. Relaxing.

Peeing in sinks is nasty though.... My honest opinion.

peeing in the shower is more fun and exciting, but nothing beats peeing in bed. The smaller the hole which the pee goes to, the more fun it is, because the aiming is more challenging. It's also fun to pee in catapult style, that means you have to make the pee land in whichever whole you're peeing inside while aiming the ceiling, im quite good at that.

Does anyone still call it that :P? Anyway, the sink is pretty skanky, that's where i brush my teeth. I don't gernerally want fluids from down their up here :P. Anyway, i just use good old toliet, or for you posh folk, le crappier.

3D

We seem to have this discussion every month :D. I think 3D can be amazing if done right (incredibles), but it can also be terrible. 2D and 3D are both different, there is no way you can ditch 2D completely, i'm sure people at pixar will say that. Before they start doing 3D stuff, they must do thousands of drawings and such. Anyway, both 3D and 2D are here to stay, like it or not.

I think that I have a small grasp of how to convert feet, miles and a few more to meters, but there still seems to be loads of measurements I don't have a clue about.. The fact that the USA is still using these weird systems confuse almost as much as the UK still driving on the left side of the road.

All I know is that a mile is about 1.6 Km, and inches are around 2.5 cm, feet are around 30cm and yards are around 90cm.

The only thing you can really say in favour of the imperial system is that everything has a cooler name.

English Accents

How come on every American show with an English character has an extremely bad accent? It seems like 98% of actors who think they can do an English accent haven't even heard an English person speek. And the dialog is always either: "It's its frightfully nippy outside this evening, don't you think Jeeves?" or "Eh up, look at that bird wif the giant nockers! Anyway, fancy a pint?". None of us speak like that!

At least its better than everyone thinking we live in castles...

I always thought we should convert to the metric system.

BTW our system isn't base 12, it's just a bunch of convoluted proportions with no distinct way to tell the divisions other than memorizations.

Yeah, my first day was yesterday and it went pretty well. It got really busy for a Tuesday night, which surprised me a little, but I got a good grasp on the way the register works and how things get set-up and taken down.

Sprites Taking Over

I noticed today on the Weekly announcement that 2nd - 5th were all claimed by one guy who made a bunch of sprite movies. Personally, I think that's gay.

I mean, I'm all for sprites, but not when you just do so many of them. yes, that means you Sun and AlvinEarthworm, I'm sorry, but I can only watch so many. The main drawback is that you get sucked into having to make a story around the sprites. Granted, you have some people like Psychosis91 who are genius writers, but I'm fucking tired of Sprite fight movies.

I just was slightly annoyed that the guy got 4 awards, but I was satisfied it wasn't a clean sweep.

The current system we have is based on a Base 120 system. It was built to work alongside the Chinese base 12 and the European base 10 system by the Mesopotamians. The guy on the show House who plays House does a really good American accent, I was surprised when I found out he has a British accent. To tell you the truth on shows where Americans do British accents, I can't tell the difference, just the same as Brits doing American accents.

Imperial system is balls, I have no idea how many feet or yards are in a mile, I wish we used the metric system, it would make everything so much easier.

I don't know how he sounds that American. There actually is an episode where he's pretending to be British in which Hugh Laurie uses his real-life voice. Ironically, even being British himself, he still sounds like he's making the stereotypical American imitation of British guys; saying, "Oh, I'm terribly sorry - I'm in London, you see, I must have gotten my times mixed up."

Last night's episode was hilarious, by the way.

Honestly, even here in Canada, all of our skilled trades still use the imperial system. It's retarded.

A number base of 10 or 12 or 6 or whatever doesn't really mean anything until you start recording it a certain way, if the twelfth number was our base and we recorded it as 10, but there were twelve numbers it, ie: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Q W 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 1Q 1W 20. It would only make sense to use a base of 12. So it isn't really wrong, or wasn't until the idea of ten being the base was adopted.

PS3 Disection.
I am not the kind of man that gets professionals to fix things for me for a high price. My PS3's disk drive was stuck on eject so I just got my good friend to fix it for me. It was actually really cool. All the lil' parts of the PS3 and the processers. I had fun giggling at it as he toke it apart peice by pieice. Anyway it's all fixed but I was wondering if anyone else has simular feelings.

When you have somethin' broken like your computer, car, etc. Do you get pros to do it or do you get trusty friends or yourself to do it. Even though their the pros I've never felt comfortable giving my babies away that easily and always either try to fix it myself or getting a friend to do it for free.

Well, since I don't think it's going to get much sunlight, it should take a while to fade. As far as the pain, it probably hurt a shitload. I don't quite understand what you mean by the whole "flying backwards" schtick, seeing as the head is the head.
