No. They weren't.

They require blue diodes, which are in incredibly short supply due to Sony falling behind. They use expensive technology. DVD's are currently working fine, and HD-DVD is already well supported. I smell a Sony failure burning.

And as for the PSP failure as a format, I mean, who else uses their format? Their movies don't sell well, and they are really expensive. They make games, and that's all that sell on the format. I mean, it's the same thing as buying a DS game, which only works on DS. They tried to make a universal format, but we know it as PSP game disc now.

I liked the whole concept of the UMD, and if they sold like, relatively cheap UMD players I would buy all my movies on UMD. Or like at least adapters (that would connect to your tv and computer)

I mean, it was a great idea puttin a case around the disk, finally, no more scratches!

i am not getting the wii.. i cant help but feeling like ill look like those stupid kids at the mall doing ddr all day and being all into it.. the way i see it is if i have to wear my 80's sweatband and legwarmers to play a video game im not , i just play. i like to sit there in my overstuffed leather chair and waste away like a gamer should. i dont wanna like be doing flips and tip toeing across the room telling people im playing hitman and trying to be sneaky.

Yeah what's with nintendo always trying innovative new special stuff and playstation doing the same thing and owning them. PSP raped the DS, PS2 raped the gamecube, and PS3 I bet will rape the wii. I don't think it'll be that crazy to play with, it might be kinda fun but I can imagine it being bitchy, like the joysticks for N64 would get all crappy, I bet the wii controllers will be wierd after awhile.

Wii is awesome... just not enough to fight over to get a month early. People feel better being l33t with their PS3 or wii, but really, everyone will have access to one within 6 months... no big deal.

are you people insane? firstly, who said you had to jump around. No one. Also, how do you suppose to PSP "raped" the DS? Im pretty sure its considered a very tight race. But yah, cube was owned. That cant be argued.

While i dont see the Wii raping PS3, i cant see it going the other way either. I think it will be a tight race.

The wii will be good because it's different, that's what nintendo does, like with ds two sceens and a touch screen. The psp is widescreen, it has a very easy to use joystick, internets use, and you can watch movies, not to mention the graphics are awesome and the sound is awesome too. It's just a lot better than the ds...I don't have either though D: so I can't say too much, or give very good evidence. But what I said is true and is evidence enough that psp is better than the ds

I thought it was pretty much accepted that the DS came out on top. Sure the PSP might be technically better, but from what I've seen half the games are the same and they lag alot when you change the camera angle and stuff.

You should really analyze your options. Vegetable curry most likely will have more vitamins and minerals, while chicken curry is going to have more protein. Given your drinking habits, protein might be a bit better choice, as it will freshen your bloodstream and clean it up. Vitamins and minerals will be better if you are puking up a storm, as it will restore those essential missing elements from your body.

So go with the chicken, and if you can, throw a bit of spinach in there to balance things out. Accompany with a glass of water with lemon (vit. C), and you are good to go.

Spinach? I don't have any of that. The only vegetables I've got (other than those in the curry is a tin of bombay potatoes). Also I should have mentioned that they're both out of a tin, so neither will be particually good for me :P

Although I think I'm off down the pub in a bit, so I'll probably just get a burger from there. We're off to see Borat tonight, which is why I'm having dinner so early.

I know i dont. I end up using the normal controlls because they normally work doing the same actions.

Did you watch him last night on Channel 4? I really like those but the film could ruin it. he has a sorta cult feel and it just doesn't feel right, like he's being blown out of proportion.

Yeah, I saw that. It just looked artificial and played out.
