I think that as you get older it becomes harder to stay in touch with the community, cause you aint like some bored teen with nothing to do anymore... he seemed like he had alot of shit going on in his life and so in that respect i totally understand where hes coming from... i do hope he does still pop in now and again though.. hes a great asset to the community even if its like once in a blue moon.

anyway im not sad, i think hes looking out for himself and he'll be back.. they always come back.....

Next thing you know denvish has his own movie with a bunch of looney toons hey ;) or would it be the popular flash characters. But on a more serious note he will be missed amongst the Newgrounds community.

Spelling Errors
Has anyone noticed while posting that the word newgrounds/Newgrounds comes up as a spelling error youd think thatd be the first word they throw in ;)

Newgrounds Theme
For this new halloween theme, I think it's pretty sick. But theres one thing. I think that the headless Tankman was already used last year of what I remember. I really didn't like it that much. But I really do like the pumpkin carvings. I also don't like the Foamy thing too, that's kinda annoying. You should have someone who uses a knife in the movie as the person who's cutting.

Tablet Pen
FUCK YEAH! My tablet pen just arrived and I'm pumped. I can't wait to use it to make my new SHIRT for the NG Shirt contest. Now I can also do my own games and draw and stuff. Thank god. Alright, time to go draw!

Im gonna really miss Denvish, he is by far the most helpful person on NG and probably in the whole flash scenario. I'm well up for having a denvish day again, in memory of his legendary legacy he left in NG.

I can sense around the forums alot of the older regs going. So were gonna have to be expecting some new up and coming talent soon. Who else agrees?

Looks nifty. I'm actually kind of glad NG isn't pink anymore; it was hard on the eyes. >.<

People Leaving
It's nothing new. A few are ancient and should be behind glass by now, but Newgrounds is constantly having a fluctuation of people.

Denvish has always had a lot of work to do, and I am impressed he's been able to juggle kids, twelve string guitars, and work, and have enough time to moderate Newgrounds. It seems like a lot. Denvish has always been someone to look up to, and regardless of his lessened time here, he will continue to be an amazing contributor to Newgrounds.

But he said he will come back every once in a while, which is better than falling off the face of the earth.

Fresh Regs
We have a good group of new regs coming in. I am glad that half of you are not idiots. We had some freaky regs coming in last year.

Thanks for the kind comments, guys. My internet gets disconnected tomorrow for an indefinite period, probably a couple of weeks until it's running in the new house. It's more the job than anything else that's preventing me from hanging out here as much as I'd like to - my most active times were always when I was unemployed, since I had nothing better to do than hang out in Wi/Ht or the FF answering peoples' questions.

Once my internet is back on I expect I'll pop in occasionally, when I can. I haven't considered a myself a FF reg for a very long time though. Oh, and btw, I don't think my age has anything to do with the activity levels, besides the fact that I'm a father of three, which takes up a lot of the time when I'm not working

It's always been the case that older regs fade away and new ones come in. Not sure exactly what the 'rite of passage' to becoming a FF reg is, but it usually filters out the shitheads fairly successfully

It's unfortunate to see you go, but on to better things, I hope. The things that you did for the Flash forum community; AS: MAIN, AS3: MAIN, collab rules, lots of really great tutorials and some wonderful games leaves an impressive and inspiring legacy.

I do hope to see you come around once in awhile if only just to say hi, because you definitely will be missed.

Users come and go, its the usual life of the newgrounds scene.. i think some people like myself stay behind becuase it transcends from it being just a flash portal.. i really value toms friendship and enjoy supporting what hes doing in the scene. I also like being in an environment with so many talented people.. its fairly exciting to be like at this hub of creative folks...

btw how the fuck did xombie 10 get a monthly award... surely theres something more deserving. it was terrible.

That particular piece might not have been great but it's nicer to think about that he got the award for the entirety of the xombie series and what it represents...
and not to mention it's pretty memorable as it was the closing of a long running popular series causing it to have more of an impact on the viewer.

I might disconnect the internet from my room for a while as well as my t.v they really are just giant distractions... I doubt I can make myself pull the plug,

i've seen quite alot of regs come and go since i started on these forums, glad to say that i have alteast the capability to keep in touch with alot of those who have left from time to time
