Dual Wielding Displays

I have one 20 inch widescreen display, I feel that's enough to please my needs, although it can get a bit cramped up at times. 10 years ago people wouldn't even dream of 20/24 inch displays, I wonder what we'll be using in another 10 years...

Dual Screen

Yeah you can stretch your flash across the screen, here's an example. I would give an advice to get a widescreen 19" with a 17" 4:3 monitor, get a dvi cable for the 19" and you got a uber screen setup! If annyone want to know witch monitor to buy, go with a 19 inch SAMSUNG as they are better these day, last year i would have said LG but lets stick with thte samsung... You can get them pretty cheap for the standart one 3000:1 contrast and 2ms i think if its not 2000:1. There's a new tech for the monitor that just poped out that offer 30% more colors but they are way too expensive... Annyway most of the people have no dvi cable due to the high price but its worth it. Wait for the sales for the cable you might be lucky and get one for 20$. They are usualy around 50$

a sphere that we step into, and the entire inner surface of the sphere is one big screen :) that or we have an implant in our brain that allows the computer with our allowance to project images into our mind simulating the travel of data through our optical nerves so its as though we are actaully seeing 3d enviorments as though we were in them.

i can actaulyl imagine the second being a big help for game developers etc, you wouldnt need to bother with all the maths around projecting images into 2d etc. you can leave them in 3d :P

Dual Screens
I tried the dual screen thing for a while. I just find it distracting and unnecessary though.

I don't think PCs will ever leave monitors. Sure, there'll be bigger, more detailed ones, but I think everyone will still have screens on their 'puters. There'll probably be a couple of spin offs that just die out quickly though.

Monitors
I have 1 27" monitor now. It's nicer than two monitors, but for the price, you might as well buy two cheaper nice monitors.

Dell makes one that size. Whenever I get my XPS, that's the monitor I'm hoping for.

Black Lagoon was one of the best animes I`ve seen in a while.
Death Note was pretty intense.
However... The best anime ever will forever be Sailor Moon!!!
...and School Rumble. :)

Good. As with all the animes I watch it seems, the ending was a bit of a let down, but I think black Lagoon was one of the only animes I have seen that has Nazis, Pirates (modern), the mafia, tha yakuza, the russian mafia, and crossdressing twin assassins in it. The animation is good and the plot is very naice. Check it out, all the eps are on Veoh.

I just finished Green Green too. Best comedy ever. Any anime that has a guy getting buttsexed by a bear and a 3 second collage of shit exploding to represent an orgasm is gold.

The worst ending of a great series is in the X-files... you don't get any close to the truth after season 3 and there are a total of 8 seasons... really bad ending episode - I hate it when they leave you hanging...

That really is an amazing show, though, no matter how bad the ending is.

i much prefer multiplie monitor set-ups to one big monitor, if i did have one big monitor i would have to get one of them virtual desktop things so that i could split it into multiple desktops

I don't think i'd complain if i got handed a 27" screen, i'll always rather have 1 big one, but it's not practical for me. I have my ps2 hooked to the CRT, and i have a TV tuner so i can watch HD tv on the other screen :D.

Monitors
It's nice having the 27" because of the ability to see everything on the screen, but yeah, as I said before, if you already own a monitor and are tight on cash definitely buy a second monitor.

Pics because it did happen.

Original, REGULAR Dr.Pepper is the best. Everyone says diet tastes the same, I don't think so. I can't stand diet drinks. They have such a bad after taste.

I like the idea of keeping my sugar intake down. That's the only reason I drink them.

Whenever they say "diet" or "sugarfree/less," it's usually some kind of chemically altered bullshit that is much worse for you than sugar would be in the first place.

The first time I tried Diet Coke, I literally threw up. Diet drinks taste much, much worse to me.

Actually it's usually an artificial sweetener, like splenda, not some chemically altered bullshit, and it's not worse for you than sugar...you're silly. The thing is artificial sweeteners usually have no calories, when I think sugar has like 4 calories per gram...or something, that's my limited knowledge on the subject from 5 minutes of wiki and webmd, the point is, you make it out to be worse for you than the original drink, and it's not, kthnx.

If you have limited knowledge, then why are you being so damn cocky?

Splenda is chemically altered; when it's made, they take the hydrogen and oxygen atoms from the regular sugar molecule and substitute in chlorine atoms. Maybe I shouldn't have gone as far as to say that it's much worse for you than sugar, but I was getting to caught up in the fact that it tastes bad and it's fake. You might as well be swapping hydrogen peroxide for water.

Anyway, this topic is meaningless. Anyone interested in baseball?

Artificial Sweetners
I get all my information from wikipedia. Like anything, crap is only bad for you in excess.

Dodgeball
Goddamn, I really want to play dodgeball or kickball. If I ever get to meet more than one of you, I am personally organizing a game of either dodgeball or Kickball, depending on the circumstances of location and time. My inner child is screaming for attention.
