..::traditional vs digital::..
I for one like both, although it has been a long time since I've done anything traditional other than doodle. There are advantages and disadvantages to each. When I do digital artwork, in Photoshop, I often limit myself about things like not using ctrl + z, not using layers, sticking to certain color palettes and limit myself to one brush. I find that having boundaries like these bring out creativity, makes you think more about what you're doing and it makes doing digital art more like traditional art.
Art in Flash is different, it seems to inspire (in me at least) a more simple style, somewhat cartoony, with basic shading. I do like drawing in flash and my Flash artwork is more akin to what I usually do with acrylics/markers/pens/chalk/watercolor/whatev er.
Art the traditional way is much more messy, I like painting with my fingers sometimes, mixing different media, adding texture with thick coats of paint. I destroy quite a bit of what I create when I'm feeling extra depressed. Traditional artwork also takes a lot more out of me, in a somewhat cathartic way, it brings up a lot of emotions and shit to fuel the piece. When I'm done I feel different and I usually like what I've done for a month or so before I either decide to keep it around, slice it up or paint over it.
I feel more comfortable with traditional art than I do with digital art. It's harder to get started on a digital piece for some reason and it's more frustrating when I muck it up like I always do.
Anywary both are good options and I've been doing both for as long as I can remember (yay for the paint program from the original Macintosh computer).
..::grammar::..
I try to be coherent when I'm on the internet with e-mail, IM's, and forum posting. I look up words that I think I may have spelled wrong and it takes me awhile to organize what I want to say in my head before typing it out so that it makes some kind of sense. It takes me longer to post than other people for these reasons.
I don't really mind other people's misspellings and grammar so long as I can make sense of it without thinking too hard. Then again, there are times when I want to kick someone in the shin if it's barely legible and contains internet abbreviations that I don't know.
