TV listings

For all you UKers out there, this is by far the best site to find what's on your basic channels with. None of that lah - dee - dah interactive bullshit; just one big, manly, unresponsive page of information. Plus, it's always been 100% accurate for me, which is more than you can say for crappy Yahoo or a few others.

I assume you mean this thread. If you actually read it you'd noticed that st1k gave the code, I merely added that the variable name shouldn't be quoted. Also the code works fine (I tried it before I locked the thread). The problem was that he didn't type http:// in the input box, which is required when using getURL. I wasn't to know that he couldn't use getURL correctly. The thread was locked as a sufficient answer was given and it had an inappropriate tittle.

Yeah that's the thread. Then it's alright. Yeah, I just meant that you should've left it open because I was writing a whole explanation while you locked it on the http:// thing and how if he wanted to add it he could and it would work if it wasn't then. Anyways, back to the brawl of the bitches...

The same way you would to a button. Just place

Does anyone else not see the bottom most pixel in posts on the BBS? Like if I wanted to make this smiley: ^_____^ I can't see the mouth bit unless it's in a quote. I find it somewhat annoying.

Annoying random things in Flash #1

When people make dynamic text boxes, but leave them as selectable. Seriously, it's like one box to toggle, and it makes what you're doing seem so much more professional when you don't get that selector icon when you mouseover something. It seems like everyone's guilty of this, from newbies all the way to the big players. Stop it guys XD

Wow, I thought no one noticed it but me.

I don't think they do it on account of laziness, I think they just don't know that the box is there :P I have to admit, though, I leave it selectable sometimes too.

That would have been an excellent addition in CS3.

They should have also changed it so that synching for tweens only becomes active when the user selects it. I'm sick of having to deselect it every time I make a tween because for some reason Flash has decided that from now on I'm only allowed one specific clip on that particular layer.
