Some great bands in my opinion are, Snow Patrol (Irish alternative rock), The Strokes (Great retro sounding new york band), Dragon Ash (Japanese, theyve been around for a while and do every type of music almost, I have 180 of their songs), I am Kloot (English, rock/world/folk music, very nice and relaxing), Kidney Thieves (Female singer, harder rock), and Silversun Pickups (More indie, with a smashing pumpkins sound). If you check out any of those, youll be in good shape.
I was just doing rhapsody because it allows for plays so you can hear a whole song.
Can't say I'm a fan of snow patrol, the strokes are great, never heard of dragon ash or i am kloot, or the rest.. although silversun pickups sounds familiar I probably have a friend who's into them.
Still looked for Evan's cancer topic still nothing (went so far as to search cancer in the search bar and put evan in the find and search eacy page D= )
Still on the topic of music a band I love to watch live but yet haven't really dug their recorded stuff is sonvolt... They completely change their sound of earbleedingly loud rock to alt country, songs like jet pilot do bring out what they sound like live though.
I've watched them since I saw them open for a band in 2002 at The Filmore which is about a thousand and change standing capacity on a standard night
Here's just a list if anyone is curious of bands you probably haven't heard of that you should have
Son Volt Broken Social Scene
Apostle of Hustle
Belle and Sebastian
Death Cab For Cutie (even though you've probably already heard them)
And I've already mentioned Dandy Warhols so, i guesse that's a crash course of music I listen to you probably haven't heard of =P
Drunk Drawing
I've never actually had the inclination to draw drunk, although I have high a couple of times but then its clear I lose interest as lines start just to leave the index card or whatever I drew on.
